I would have thought it depended on when they take payment, if your cards have been debited, surely the goods are yours at the agreed price which they have taken. Until they take payment, they can probably do what they like and you would either have to accept the changes or cancel the order.0

If you have a look on LXDirect.com it's £129 and £219 on there without any discounts.
Surely this has to be Office Student Edition, and Vista Home at these prices.0 -
These items say "Home approval exception", which means you can't return the items for a refund unless they are faulty.0

1. Everyone wades in.
2. Some wade in for LOTS (Ebayers)
3. Everyone takes screen scrapes.
4. Lots ask about the legal standing.
5. All the armchair lawyers get flushed out.
6. Order gets cancelled (SURPRISE, SURPRISE)
7. Much bullahaloo....a lot of noise about Trading Standards
8. Everyone moves onto the next misprice.....return to step 1!
*but* you gotta be innit to winnit...I placed an order for the £149 lappy too!

Well when I open my software package and find no inflatable laptop, I will then call them and explain the product is faulty, as what I ordered was a Toshiba A100 laptop.

I am afraid I have already called them. What is the point in getting your hopes up only for them to be dashed. I have a flexible account and I have placed my order for the £249 laptop. Everything has been confirmed including my e-mail. I called to check everything was ok with my order and the Guy on the phone said that it was definitely for the laptop and I asked him to confirm that. i also asked him to confirm that once I had received my e-mail they would honour the price, he said yes. I took his name in case of future correspondence but I have given them every chance to stop my order so far. I know that this might al be futile and I don't know what my legal rights would be but time will tell I guess.0
