mooseepoo wrote:A quick google search for MICROSOFT OFFICE HOME AND STUDENT 2007 brings up a GREAT UNIVERSAL (Who own littlewoods) price of £149.00, same price as the "laptop". So.... We are getting software (which, may I add, can be bought for around £70 from other places online)
How is it just for the software when the description says Toshiba A100 LAPTOP , show a picture of it AND list all the LAPTOP specs!?!?0 -

The way i'm reading it they both come with vista (one is home basic the other is home premium).. I suspect it wont make any difference though as neither will arrive i fear -
re: blame, phone calls etc
Order tracking/my order has been down on site for at least half an hour now.. they were onto it way before any phone calls so no need to point the finger. I wouldnt have personally rung up but i dont believe we are any less likely to receive the items now than we ever were in this case.0 -
I've printed both pages off as proofAlways looking for a bargain and to help0

if you type the pr393 into littlewoods it was showing the laptop, unless they have now fixed the link0

I understand a contract is formed between both parties and im wondered at what point that this takes place.
As I understand it, there are three components to a contract: an offer, acceptance and consideration (i.e. payment). That usually means that there's no contract until you pay up.
However, I don't know how this works in the case of a system that is designed to work on credit. The contract has to exist at some point before they send out the goods, otherwise you could just collect your order and then claim that there's no contract.0 -
