Given a few people now have an order confirmation, is this enough to ensure that they have to honour those with confirmations?

I understand a contract is formed between both parties and im wondered at what point that this takes place.

Got teh cheaper one because I cant see vista being anywhere near fluid enough with those specs (unless there have been big advances since the beta version), awaiting email conformation but page where you pay clearly says 'laptop WITH software'

Just phoned up; littlewoods know of this and they say that the catalogue code for this product is for software only - no laptop.

I ordered 2 and never got anything through by email so i phoned them up.. looks like i won't get my tuesday bargain

but says

theres a 3 missing from product code

These are down as direct delivery from manufacturer - if Littlewoods/LX don't spot it then either Microsoft will get 100's or 1000's of orders for Vista etc. or Toshiba will get them for laptops and I'm sure they will spot it.

If we all end up with software and return it, then look out for Vista in your local catalogue bargain shop - as I can't see Bill Gates doing 'sale or return'.

I registered my account at 12:57, received confirmation at 1:06, so it must have been around 1pm
