Went with Mum and my sister to the nursing home to collect her friends things - all fitted into a cardboard box - very sad.

Off to bed soon as am shattered - these sleepless nights are catching up with me.

tappers the nhs doesnt give two monkeyys about mental health. they patch you up and send you on your way again. if they keep you then they just medicate to your eyeballs

Trying to read everyday, but not managing to post

Os today had hm soup for lunch, been at work all day then caught train back to lancashire so ds2 can visit his dad and I visit dm and stepdad.

Going christmas shopping tomorrow so I can leave most of prezzies at dm instead of carting them up in december.

Hugs to all who are suffering in one way or another.....seems as if something dreadful happens everyday....you are in my thoughts.

Very cold here today, windy again too so not very pleasant.

Fish (skate and hake) for dinner to-day with cauliflower, onion sauce, mash, roasties and carrots, followed by apple crumble and custard.....mmmm love skate.

Started knitting ponchos for DGDs 1 &3 to go with dresses and tights I have bought for Christmas....need to put a shift on as they have to go in post, will order books online to go directly to them. Now need to sort out the other 3 grandchildren but books will be top of the list there too....they are all bookworms so at least I can claim that as inherited from me!

Really missing DD3 now that its getting near to Christmas....will have to have smiles on when we speak on Skype or she will get upset...presents for her and BF will have to go next week too.

I'm so glad we'll have a doglet over the Xmas period; it'll be a year on 19th December that Mr LW's DSis1 died; he hasn't spoken to DSis2 since then, and I have a feeling it'll be a hard anniversary for him to deal with, so Sidney's presence will help - he's staying from 17th to 29th December.:o
