JG - I'm so sorry you are having such a stressful time at the moment. I hope you have a good weekend with DH.
I've made my Christmas pud today, Nigella's recipe with a bit of a tweak, I hope it's ok, I don't eat the things so I wont be able to tell.
I've also made another loaf, I seem to be baking them every other day at the moment, it makes me wonder if it's really cheaper than shop bought when we eat them much more quickly.0 -

Still recovering from seeing my nephew at the weekend! :rotfl: He was blowing into a recorder in one ear and DH was playing some sort of other instrument in my other ear! That was after singing/shouting into the microphone on his keyboard giving us a little concert of Christmas songs! I was glad to get home for a bit of peace! :rotfl:0 -

Went to bed / got up to the news that BIL may not last more than a few days more. Spent the morning with my sister who was sobbing inconsolably. Went to the hospital at lunchtime, met the consultant, and came home with the news that he should last a good few weeks longer. How long we don't know, as they are too frightened to ask, but its definitely not iminent. Phew. Off to get OH from the airport, thank goodness I have ' good' news to tell him, he was pretty upset this morning.
Hope all are well.
