Make sure you have it against a wall or it will blow down regardless of how much you weight the bottom of it.
They're very handy but you'll need to remember to open the flap when it's warm as they get obscenely hot inside and you can end up with wilted plants.0 -
I use two 15mm copper pipe holders screwed to the wall to hold my mini green house sercure. works against the strongest winds0

I have had this for several years and absolutely fantastic for bringing on my spring plants. Unfortunately full of empty plant pots and DGSs outside toys! Will sort out. However outside plastic cover now starting to deteriorate - can I buy replacement? (Gaurdman I think?)

I wish I'd read this thread before I put mine up. Bought it last Thursday, put it up Friday, very pleased with my handiwork and the way it looked - by Saturday morning it had been blown across the garden in the gales and the plastic cover ruined. I'd put two lovely clay pots on the bottom shelf to hold it steady til I could shop on Sat for some fixings and they were in several pieces too
. A lesson learned - find out about how to do these things properly before I blunder ahead in my own impatient fashion in future!

Have you looked at the ones in wilkinsons online they have a couple of replacement covers.0 -
Just after I'd written that I needed to go to the garden. I hadn't opened the flap in the morning and all my broad beans had wilted and looked dead.
I think a couple will be ok but several are goners, should really listen to my own advice, even on a moderate day you have to let it air and just close it at night.0 -
