Your post makes very interesting reading. I also bought from shopneo having first read about the deal in this thread, and I too have had 3 strange transactions appear on my creditcard account in the last 2 weeks. I stopped my card as soon as I became aware of it and the matter is being investigated by the creditcard fraud dept.
The first transaction was https://www.webdollar.com (Sweden)
2nd was https://www.segpayeu.com (location unknown)
3rd was https://www.inexia.com (Germany)
All transactions were in US dollar amounts and came to near £150 in total.
I have never been the victim of any kind of creditcard fraud before and I've held cards for 10 years +
Shopneo is the only time I've used my card online in the last few weeks.0 -
As discussed here http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=380759 we were made aware of a small number of customers who had attempted transactions on their cards from overseas locations.
I should note that I have arranged a letter to be sent to all customers as a courtesy. I have absolutley no idea why or how this is happeneing and I am beginning to feel as much a victim in all of this as even if this is a coincedence of sorts it is doing much damage to our business right now
We're a small family run business since 1996 and this is the first time in our history we have had any kind of reports like this. I'm doing everything I can to investigate and to be as pro-active as possible by being visible on MSE to all our customers. I believe in dealing with any query personally as much as possible.
I'd appreciate if any concerns could be done directly as starting some sort of panic posting is quite unfair to us paul.owen (at) shopneo.co.uk and if you would like to give your telephone number I will call and speak to you personally. Thank you.All queries regarding recent unauthorised CC transactions should be forwaded to peter.jackson@shopneo.co.uk0 -

I have personally been working hard to look for any possible security breaches but have yet to find any at all, however it is always best to be as pro-active as possible and to be conscious of such things.
I've sent you an email about this matter Paul0 -

Thanks for the info I’ve reported this to my bank and the police also rang Paul Owen seems a nice chap and was as helpful as he could be. He has confirmed to me there have been reports from users about payments being taken after them using his website full details have been passed to the police .0 -
Me too... £75 to gambling sites and £16 to CC London (Congestion Charging)... Someone really is stupid, they use a card to pay a days congestion charge, but they need to give a reg number... DUH!
