Just popped in to give a (((hug))) to all those who have had bad news, it seems to be a very bad time of the year for a lot of us on here.
My Dad has a hosp appt tomorrow and am hoping the news is not as bad as we are all secretly thinking it maybe.
OS wise, not doing too bad, slow cooker on today doing jacket pots, got some to freeze, had one tonight and doing sausage casserole in SC tomorrow so will use up another couple of the jackets to go with it.
Off to Sheffield on Saturday to have the bed fitted in our van. Am hoping to combine this with a trip to HobbycraftAlthough this may all change after tomorrow

<<<Hugs>>> to all of those who are in a bad place tonight. So much sorrow around at the moment .It always makes it seem worse somehow as everyone else is being cheerful and looking forward to Christmas.
I lost my lovely Mum in December 1959 and we had to have the funeral on Christmas Eve which was her birthday .At 16 it was a long time before I felt Christmassy, and every year it felt as though I shouldn't be able to smile and enjoy the holiday again. But I had my eldest DD in 1967 on 2nd December and my youngest two years later on the 19th December and Christmas although a sad time sometimes, became a good time as the girls birthdays helped to cheer things up.
I am off to bed now and will have my little chat to the Big Guy as usual and ask him to be kind to those of you who are going through a tough time at the moment
Night,night God Bless all here
