more sad new here I'm afraid:( Mums elderly friend who I visited this afternoon has since died. She was a lot worse this week than I have ever seen her and had a chest infection. To be honest it is a big relief as she had zero quality of life.
Mum's just rung from Devon and is trying to get a train back up here. Vera was her best friend for over 40 years so poor Mum will be very upset. Mum's her next of kin so will be organising everything.

so much sad news around at the moment.
