Bread maker - hate the taste of the bread out of it

OH Kitchen appliances that dont get used but clog kitchen cupboards up ......

Food Dehumidifier - makes dried apple and fruit or something ?
    Vacumn sealer for freezer bags
3 food processors when only kenwood cheff gets used
Tassimo - ( Mind you that was me, but then bought espresso machine, tastes lot better !)
    Cream ' Frother' ???
Micowave oven ( Never used )
Umpteen hundred other kitchen gadgets, bought on a whim from QVC and Ideal World.

I have set parental lock on freeview and sky so he can't watch them :rotfl:

    Best Kitchen gadgets....

Tefal Actifry - had it 4 years, does best chips and Roasties ever had, cooked with spoon of Olive Oil
Induction Hob - Wouldn't have gas hob again after getting it.

    I want the candyfloss maker...

This would be a good idea...except OP is the only one who aint got what they are ranting about! *

*I was tempted to say 'go figure' for the first time in my life!
  • I asked my wife what the most useless thing in the kitchen was.

    She said it was me.:rotfl::rotfl:

    The thread title says:-

What's YOUR most unnecessary/useless piece of kitchen equipment?

...you don't have the item you are 'ranting' about. So maybe you should start a thread about 'the most unnecessary/useless piece of kitchen equipment that is not yours'?:D
Tha's right. I asked "What is your...." , I never said "This is my .....".

If all you can do is harp at others (and looking at your posts elsewhere, it seems like that is all you can do), then please go somewhere where your criticisms will be appreciated.

I've used this board for seven years and you are the first person I have put onto "ignore".

Breadmaker, used a few times now in the loft
Smoothie maker, collecting dust on shelf, although i do use it as a liquidiser too.

Hand held liquidiser, that does get used more often but still no more than a few times a month

electric knife, i thought it would help me, rarely used

    coffee machine, rarely used
coffee grinder even more rare to use
raclette machine, good fun used twice this year

meat mincer, OH bought me years ago for one receipe, never been used since
Ditto for me with the breadmaker but electric knife and (filter) coffee machine I use. My espresso/capuccino one is just too much of a faff.

Great idea! There is something called an NCISROCKS kicking about in here. Not sure exactly what it's for but produces plenty of hot air. Will swap for a chocloate teapot. :rotfl:
