I'd forgotten I had a deep fat fryer and electric knife knocking around, they have both been used regularly in the past but it seems once they get put away they're history. Likewise the George Foreman grill.

Heater tray for curries etc, how was a tealight supposed to keep a meal warm? I suppose it might have done if I'd ever bothered using it, the trays with it were nice though...still shiny and new looking even now. After spending nearly 20 years in a cupboard...but I'll use them when I remember.

On an italian theme, I've got a cappuccino maker that has always been used regularly which surprises even myself but the pasta maker/roller I HAD to have and coveted for years got used once.

Bought a cookie press - used once and binned in frustration.

Number one on the most useless list; the various icing nozzles I seem to collect everytime I get the urge to do some icing I then lose the bag and bits and end up with a new set of nozzles when I next get the urge.

And my favourite thing ever? Silicone cake tin liners.

I want one of those George Foreman grills - does anyone use theirs?
Yes. Some people find them too much of a faff to clean but I don't - it's much easier than the ancient Rima grill I was using before the Gf one.

    No ridiculous question/joke.
I am just a someone who loves cooking and loves cooking on the right equipment. For me it is as essential as good ingredients and a worthwhile investment.
You sound like a very serious cook, indeed!

I wouldn't want to criticise your muffins.

Bread maker - hate the taste of the bread out of it

OH Kitchen appliances that dont get used but clog kitchen cupboards up ......

Food Dehumidifier - makes dried apple and fruit or something ?
    Vacumn sealer for freezer bags
3 food processors when only kenwood cheff gets used
Tassimo - ( Mind you that was me, but then bought espresso machine, tastes lot better !)
    Cream ' Frother' ???
Micowave oven ( Never used )
Umpteen hundred other kitchen gadgets, bought on a whim from QVC and Ideal World.

I have set parental lock on freeview and sky so he can't watch them :rotfl:

    Best Kitchen gadgets....

Tefal Actifry - had it 4 years, does best chips and Roasties ever had, cooked with spoon of Olive Oil
Induction Hob - Wouldn't have gas hob again after getting it.

What's next? castration and removal of his shed!!1

I'm not sure which is worse! :S Still, if you did castrate, you could find a use for one of them spare blenders

    Anyway, back on topic...

A Senseo Coffee machine. Used a few times but really nowhere as nice as the cheap filter coffee machine. Every now and then it gets brought back in to the kitchen where it lasts a week and gets kicked out again.

Quesidillia maker. This had potential to be just brilliant, but it has a major downfall. These are made for the USA market more than the European, and one thing you can get there which you seemingly cant get here are Large Corn Tortillas. The tortillas we get in the UK are too small for the maker so the edges dont seal and you just get a nice, circular mess.

    They're also rarely corn...

Having siad that, Quesedillas are easy to make in a pan.... granted, the first time I tried, it went a bit wrong, but it's fine now

I can get small corn ones, not large, which is a shame because I much prefer corn to flour tortillas :(

I was going to suggest buying a breadmaker so you could make dough with it and make your own tortillas.... but it looks like they don't need yeast so probably really easy to make any size you want :D
    My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j

I have a toaster with an egg poacher attached to the side of it. It's a bit ridiculous
