Cor, now that brings back memories, the days of cheap Lidl "Irish Cream"... It was all I and my friends drank for aaaages when I was younger. Then we all went off it.
It's nice. It's thinner than Baileys, you will realise it's not the real thing, but in it's own right it is a very drinkable thing.
And the hangovers were nothing like as bad as the red wine we moved onto after that!
I've gone all nostalgic now!
Anyway, Martin does say we should all have a go at downsizing by a brand (or something, I may have the terminology wrong), so I'm sure this is something of a licence to drink lots of cheap grog and test it. Not because I want to you understand, I am simply doing a favour to the MSE community. ;-)0 -
What about lager, has anyone tried Aldi beer?0

Try Icelands one its called Irish Cream only about £3.99 maybe more but tastes like Baileys but not as think/creamy good value0

my ex loved Lidl own brand bitter...till he was sick on it teeheehee. Teccy V lager is HORRIBLE, and only like 2% ABV i think.
I read on the deals bit of the main site earlier that ASDA are doing bottles of baileys for £7 at the mo, if you do want the real thing
if you're buying vodka, dont be tricked by "Vodkat", its cheap, but half strength and always makes me feel ill (tummy ache)!0 -

We have Tesco, Sainsburys & Lidl local to us.

Southern comfort lime & lemonade. Yummy.Try to be a rainbow in someone's cloud.0 -
Haven't tried Aldi Ameretto, didn't like the Morrisons one, too waterey The Lidl's gin is fine, especially if you add some Angostura bitters! Lidl's Cinzano version is good too. As is their sherry.I Believe in saving money!!!:T
