This thread has got vicious to the extreme !
Whats happeining? There is no need for the fury which is taking place. OP asked a question, everything was fine then all hell broke loose !
You should be ashamed of yourselves. it is supposed to be a discussion board, not an internet version of Gladiators.
Don't care who is in the wrong, who is in the right, everyone has their own points and it shouldn't turn into a total bunfight
You should be ashamed of yourselves ! You all need your ars*s smacked !0 -

Not really.. Peoples views are their own and if people dont want to donate for whatever reason it is their choice and you should respect peoples wishes one way or another.
by calling them silly is not being respectful whatsoever.
As others have said my liver is probably ruined by now and I cant see properly and my heart is bound to be clogged up with tab residue or something so mine will be worthless but yet im still on the register but only because i like the thought of helping someone."If you no longer go for a gap, you are no longer a racing driver" - Ayrton Senna0 -
I'm not on the register, but my familly know that I would want my organs to be donated as being in one piece for the funeral isn't a major thing for me as I'm not an ancient Egyptian, who needs to take all his physical body parts to the afterlife and my familly tends to go for cremation rather than being buried.Cheltenham Dude

As far as I can see the only ones being rude and caustic are those who think everyone should be willing to donate organs.
I don't see any of those of us who don't wish to be used as donors calling THEM stupid, spiteful or selfish ( all of which have been used in this thread although I think MSE has now deleted some of the nastier posts)
Might that be because it's not stupid, spiteful or selfish to try to save a life?I'm not bad at golf, I just get better value for money when I take more shots!0 -

So your saying it is stupid , spiteful and selfish for those who choose to go to the grave fully sewn up then?
Who are you to dictate what anyone else does with their body or internal organs?
WHO ARE YOU?
A nobody. Thats who you are a nobody. So try not to make out your some sort of hero because of what you choose to do that others dont."If you no longer go for a gap, you are no longer a racing driver" - Ayrton Senna0 -
And I just love the irony that the posters who are perfectly happy to let someone who desperately needs an organ die have the cheek to call someone nasty for pointing that out to them.
If you rank using a few mean words on the internet as worse than needlessly condemning something to death, then you need to reassess your priorities.I'm not bad at golf, I just get better value for money when I take more shots!0
