I'm pleased you had a great weekend with your family. You sound more positive about being in a position to make the move happen. I think it's great that you have allocated the inheritance money to that fund so it means something special in your life.

You have so many orders coming in! It is interesting to me that they have found your website so soon. I don't want to sound mean, I am genuinely wondering, what has made the marketing work so well?

Hi Chocs

Most of the orders I'm getting at the moment have come from Etsy (all of the international orders are from here) or through my Facebook page. With every order I'm sending out, I'm adding one of my printed cards with my website details on so hoping that increases volume a little to the site.

I've had 2 more orders so far this morning, value of around £75, so I need to get working again tonight! I spent most of last night after DS went to bed, making, finishing and wrapping yesterday's orders so at least they're done and out of the way. Definitely trying to keep on top of them all and do them as they come in!

Yes, there's some lovely stuff on Etsy Chocs, just have to make sure I don't spend any of the money I make as it's very tempting to browse through all the lovely things for sale!

The business is going from strength to strength. I am so busy that I have to take the day off tomorrow to catch up on all my orders. I have 27 orders to try and complete tomorrow, :eek: but am waiting on some materials so I really hope they arrive today or in the morning as there's not much I can do without them.

Just made another CC payment and updated the loan amount in my signature. CC debt now under 3K and loan going down very nicely!
Credit card debt will reduce a little more this month with another payment due soon, will update as and when.

OMG! 27 orders, that's amazing. And the extra debt payments are great.

Maybe you need to increase your prices.....

Two further orders meant I had 29 to get through yesterday which I managed to do - just! Have another 14 in in the last 16 hours or so and have made a good start on those this morning already. I will finish most of them tonight, hopefully.

I did consider a price increase chocs, especially as some of the raw materials I purchase have gone up by over a third in the last week:mad: but I don't really want to overprice and shoot myself in the foot. I'm making a good bit of money on things at the moment and am very aware sales will drop dramatically soon due to the seasonal Market, so will plug away at this rate for now. Maybe next year there will be a price increase I think!

You are doing so well with this. I totally understand why you are holding prices to establish yourself and it is better to be busy and get the experience now.

I wonder when the Xmas orders will peak?!
