Morning all, I'm in again :)

I've cleaned the kitchen/diner (my Monday job anyway) and also dusted the living room and hallway and vacuumed both and vacuumed up the stairs (to be met by diaspproving faces from cats who thought they may have to move! They've gone back to sleep now).

I don't usually do Advent calendars but I may look out for one this week, if I can find one that doesn't have chocolate in it. I'd rather get one I can use over each year.

I've cut some cardboard from a box before bin day tomorrow so I can put it in with the calendar I'm sending to my sister and BiL for Christmas, hopefully it will make it harder for the postman to fold it in half.....I got my stamps for cards last week but I'll have to take the calendar in to be weighed and put in the sack so that will be in a couple of weeks time when I'm planning to send the cards.

I can't book an online delivery yet, about another week or so I think.

We get a turkey free from DD1's work so I don't have to order that.

Pollyanna - I was quite glad it was actually raining this morning so I didn't have to put the washing out and watch it sulking on the line! (How's that? ;))

    Happy Birthday seafarer's wife :)

Oh Mudbath, I'm so sorry. I really know how you are feeling. Your head tells you that you did the right thing but your heart makes you feel sore. It will be a year next week since we had the same thing with our Polly and it still hurts.

  • Please can I join in?

Today is the first day of our new routine as DH starts a new job down south today. He's going to be away Mon to Fri, and this week has taken our car with him, which means a 3 mile round walk just to drop the kids off at their schools. DS2 is going to be exhausted by the end of the week! I'm just hoping it will help my weight loss ;)
