Will post a list but don't think I'll get too much done off it, we'll see. I can cross out the Tupperware part as I'm dead good me and only have 2 at the mo, I saved the best two from the bin after my last flinging sesh. Woot!

    Monday Pollyanna Day
Let’s try to start the week in a really positive way. If you have never read the book Pollyanna then you’ve missed a real treat! If you have you will know the idea. Today I want you to play Pollyanna:

Pollyanna's philosophy of life centres on what she calls "The Glad Game", an optimistic attitude she learned from her father. The game consists of finding something to be glad about in every situation. It originated in an incident one Christmas when Pollyanna, who was hoping for a doll in the missionary barrel, found only a pair of crutches inside. Making the game up on the spot, Pollyanna's father taught her to look at the good side of things—in this case, to be glad about the crutches because "we didn't need to use them!"

Yesterday I wrote out all my neighbours cards, got 16 new ones now the bungalows are finished and occupied.....and I wrapped 5 presents that were quickly stashed under the stairs away from prying littley. I feel most organised with christmas this year.

I'll go and potter in the kitchen now.

Jojo - you're getting a real, live, lovely kitten?????????? I'm sooooo jealous but, of course, as Pollyanna I am truely pleased for you and love the fact that I have to big slobbery dogs who give me lots of love even though they smell a little round the edges :D

Christmas challenges completed - i love doing those so that's never a problem.

Off to walk the dogs on this lovely, fresh morning which will blow the cobwebs from my hair. Then i'll come home and look forward to the lovely list of household chores (ok, i'm pushing it now) and have a yummy lunch :rotfl: x x
  • Can i join in this week please? I'm afraid I've been letting things go a bit :o

I'm off to a good start, I just hope I can keep the momentum up. In the kitchen I have also:
    • cleaned the ovens
    • cleaned the cupboards, kickboards and doors inside and out
    • cleaned the microwave
    • cleaned the toaster and descaled the kettle
    • shined the sink and taps
    • put dishwasher on a cleaning cycle.
    • dusted the arcetrives and skirting boards
    • washed the windows and doors (inside only)
    • washed and treated the dining chairs and put out a new cloth.
    • wiped the doors and cleaned the handles. :A
Yet to do - Utility room
    1. clean cupboards
    2. clean doors
    3. sweep and mop floor
    4. dust the top of the washer and dryer, clean the fronts, empty the filters, wash the drawer and clean the manky rubber seal. Then put on a cleaning cycle.
    5. take everything off the big fridge freezer door and polish. take out contents, clean and wipe, make an inventory of what is in and needs using. Cull the pictures before putting back a selected few.
    6. Empty and wash the recycling boxes.
    7. Clean work tops
    8. Sort laundry, do ironing, put away and wipe empty baskets.
    9. clean radiator.
oh... maybe not doing as well as I thought then :( Wish me luck, I may be gone some time....

Morning flyer's. I'm in again. Decorating still ongoing but should all be done by weekend. I am determined not to let the downstairs turn into a bomb site whilst we are decorating as always seems to happen.

Monday - kitchen and dining room
    level one
    Sweep and mop the floor
    Level Two
    Wipe the work surfaces
    Dust any flat surfaces
Wipe out the fridge and check the drain hole - mine overflowed this week
    Level three
Clean the kitchen sink and drains
Empty and clean out your bins
    Polish the table

    Declutter Mission

Sort through tuppawear. Do you really need all those empty pots? Are you missing lids? Now in recycle bin along with egg boxes. 2 carrier bags worth:o

    Personal Challenges :starmod:
Not to let the decorating turn the rest of the house into chaos, keep up with the daily's instead of thinking what's the point. Then it will be just the upstairs to get back to normal when decorating is finished and not the whole house.
