Hello all. jojo awww so cute.
Not much flying today other than a couple of DW/WM loads. MrT/Mr A mega shop (I ran out of tinned tomatoes). Mainly been batch cooking - whoopsied mince at Mr T. Padded out with lentils I now have 6 portions of chilli and rice, and 6 portions of shepherds pie base to go in the freezer. I cheated with packets as they were on offer, but I'm still not 100% so I refuse to feel guilty.
Amazing deal on Icelandic cod. Half price, and then 1/3 off. Down to £3 a kilo. Not going to pass that up. Done lots of store cupboard refilling, so when the weather turns (absolutely freezing here today) I don't have to venture out too often.
Tomorrow I start flying with you all again.GC Mar 13 £47.36/£1500 -
Great day.
Lovely hour in the garden in the sunshine
Visisted Father Christmas, maybe the last time after 17 years so feel a bit nostalgic
Best of all saved a whopping £654 on our house insurance. Very happy
Still working on the school play costume but not loads to do. Time to start dinner and do a HHC in the kitchen. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Been waiting in since I got up this morning, as DD1 was supposed to be popping round on Friday, but contacted the ex to tell him she wasn't and she would go to his today instead (and he said he would give her a lift home and thereby force her to stop off here, if only to pick up her present and card).
I think I can probably assume that she either hasn't bothered going there (which will really hurt Minion's feelings as she was originally supposed to be going to DD1's father's house and DD never even had the decency to tell her, she left it to her father to do) or she has just refused point blank to come here.
Either way, I've been here like a fool all day, not even going out for a moment to get some milk in case I missed her.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -
Hi,
I had a lurvely holiday and have been back a week. The house wasn't too bad but I have spent the last week catching up on things. Being in a warm climate seemed to help my aches and pains and I have been able to do more since I returned.
It is now time to get back on track and join you again.
DK well done on the insurance savings.
Jojo I love your kitty. We are going to get one after the holiday. It is over a year since we lost our two and I feel ready to take on another.

Hugs to JoJo xx
:j I did it!! Two boxes emptied. Most of the contents of the first box are now in the recycling bins - paper and cardboard, just a very small pile of 'keeps'. And the second box held books - 34 books; 16 of which are going to the CS this week. That's nearly a 50% reduction - hope I can keep this ruthless head on for a while, it's quite cathartic.
Bye for now xxIT ONLY TAKES SMALL DAILY ACTIONSFOR MAGIC TO HAPPENRosemary Ikpeme0 -
Hello Everyone
Hope you are all well.... I have been flying but not on the list as I have had to clear the area because the builder is starting tomorrow!!
I have hoovered and cleaned the bathroom and loads of sorting in the kitchen and back bedroom. I have made some jewellery as I need more stock to sell at work. Have found bags of clothes but it all needs washing as it has been stored for a couple of months so now I have a huge mount washmore. Did 3 loads yesterday and 2 today and barely reduce the mountain!
right I am going to watch Strictly results show then I am going to start painting in the study as builder will probably move the huge dresser from the garage into the study before fixing the dresser later. When it is on place I wont be able to paint and the as the previous owner painted every room a vibrant orange it will cast a glow on the ceiling.November NSD 1/10Weight loss - 7lbs from the 41 I need to loose = 34 to go0 -
