:bdaycake:Happy Birthday Gratefulforhelp - hope you have a lovely day xx

I've started sorting through a box of 'stuff' which moved to this house with me in 2008 and hasn't seen daylight since....there's a rather large understairs cupboard full of such boxes and bags.

In this first one I've just found a newspaper clipping of DS in his playschool nativity (1996) aaahhhhh!. And enough unused birthday cards to keep me supplied for most of 2012 :T :money:

ETA Must have been having a 'senior moment' - we moved in here in 2003 - which is 8 years ago...I knew 8 came into it somewhere :0) xx

MOAM - what a lovely result, sometimes it is the sheer volume that is too much for them. Mine have new bedrooms with a lot less stuff and they seem to be coping better.
Dusty - thanks, (mostly) just pottering.
    JoJo - lovely. pea green!

I have been to MrT to use some vouchers up which was a bit daft when I was supposed to be running the pantry down. Tidied our BR, sorted the present bags, WM on, dining room tidied so we could set up the temp kitchen, Just started on shifting stuff over!

Hello all. Creeping back in after a nasty fight with noro-virus. I am slowly getting back on my feet. Very weak still and only slowly eating again.

However I have been fluttering today. Bed changed, WM on. DW emptied and loaded. Washing up done. Menu plan and shopping list done. I'm doing QHC as its all I can manage without a sit down.

Will be flying with all of you next week. House needs a real go over. I will try and get the kitchen up to scratch today though as it looks like a bomb site.

(((hugs))) to all in need. Afraid I need my spoons at the moment.

    ETA Happy birthday grateful

    Happy Birthday grateful :)

    Afternoon all.

Cold and windy here but at least it's dry and the washing seems to be doing OK.

Not done much because everything I do makes me cough and feel sick. Managed a boiled egg at lunchtime because I was getting to the stage where I didn't know if I felt sick or hungry. I wish I could drink tea but that's making me feel really sick, hot lemon seems to be the only thing I can manage at the moment.

I've tidied out my box of Christmas cards, bags and paper because all the rummaging had made it a right mess. At least I know for sure what's in there now.

I have been busy ^ this was me! Bedroom has had a level three clean, I have even washed the porcelain that lives on the window sill (Aynsley) because it looks lovely actually washed as opposed to dustedand moved some furniture. Also done landing and stairs. Need to do lounge but DS is in there (their dad was on overtime last night so he hasn't been today - he fills up vans for HDN)
Very blowy here, so much so that some washing is already back in and ironed! Need to check washer bottle for car so I might do that next.

Incidentally I asked the peeps on the e bay board about that high priced item. It's a business seller's listing and as she's down to her last one (and presumably awaiting more stock) has temporarily upped the price in order to keep her place near the top of the lists. Presumably a few sellers do this.
