It does seem to be very frequent, certainly 2nd one this month.
It'll be getting to the point where I wait for free listing rather than using 99p listings!
Anyway, so far I have made almost £30 for school funds selling OOD printer inks! I brought another lot home so I shall be listing one of each this weekend...

I'm back... Lying on the sofa and getting bored. Much better this time as the anaesthetist listened to me and didn't give me painkillers I don't get on with.
Next time I need to take flip-flops and a dressing gown... Don't let me forget!0 -

Personal Challenges :starmod:
Friday Keep in Contact
Phone somebody you haven’t spoken to in ages and make their day. Don’t wait until Christmas to send a card asking how they are, do it in person. For those of you who will struggle with this go and read a bit of a board on here you have never visited. You don’t have to post.
Debt-free Diaries bit visited, and also caught up with happenings in Disability and Dosh, which I've been tending to avoid lately; even if I was able to do phones, I don't actually have anyone to call, so was glad of the alternative option.:o
Preparing for Christmas Challenges:rudolf:
Friday Festive Drinks
Have a think about drinks over the festive period. Mulled wine, Bucks Fizz, fruit cocktails, fizzy water and red cordial, prosecco? Try something new. Check any glasses you will need over the festive period are clean and sparkling
Mr LW has ordered some wine from the chap who presided over the wine tasting where we first “clicked”, something he does 2 or 3 times a year. We have Sloe Vodka on the go; we have Methode Campagnoise stuff that I bought in Kent for Mr LW's birthday (5th Dec) and Yule, and we use our decent glasses whenever we can, so they stay clean. Whisky and sherry to be replenished next week as they've all “evaporated” again, so I think we're all sorted. CORRECTION: It appears Mr LW has been to Mr M's in Letchworth, as he just handed me a bag with sherry and whisky and a bunch of dark crimson carnations in it.:D
Although we shall have Sidney staying with us over Yule, he'll be sticking to Adam's Ale.;)
Friday - Master Bedroom and Landing
Level 1
Hoover the landing and bedroom All hoovering done by Mr LW already:A
Level 2
Hoover and turn the mattress if possible Will be hoovered tomorrow (not due for turning this week – we do this every 8th week) *See note on Level 3
Dust any pictures/photos and Dragons lol - Done
15 minutes of exercise or meditation, or just pondering HHYoga plus two walks with Dilly done
Level 3
Clean any shoes or boots which need it Done
Finish any outstanding jobs on your lists All finished, as far as I can without assistance
Change the bedding Will be done 1st thing tomorrow (Saturday); I need Mr LW's assistance with this, so we do it every Saturday (change the bed, that is – get your minds out of the gutter you lot!)
Declutter mission:
Declutter anything from the landing which needs rehoming. *Looks around bungalow * nope, everything's in its proper place. Finish any declutter missions from earlier in the week or add your own declutter mission to inspire others.
It's our monthly PC back-up weekend – so I'm getting ahead by firing up the PC and decluttering outdated files that no longer need to be kept, archiving older stuff that needs keeping into zipped files, and a general tidy up in cyberspace.
Gotta dash - Mr LW is hungry, and the pizza just finished cooking.;)
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Got the bed stripped this morning and the room dusted.
Livingroom floor swept and room dusted.
Kitchen floor swept.
Bathroom S&Sed.
Took the left over laminate and underlay back and was refunded.
Brass monkey weather today. I had 3 layers on when doing my meeting and greeting as the wind was blasting straight in.
Just waiting for some washing to finish then will get that hung on the airer.
Hugs and spoons where needed.
Take care if you are out in the high winds tomorrow.
adamtime and Lamewolf. Thanks. I did suspect it was a scam. They are very persistant.0 -
Update on the cleared out room -
"Mummy it so tidy, I love it, how long did it take you to do (about 20 mins with a binbag! :rotfl:), I love it...."
"Can you now keep it tidy like this do you think? And I like that I can walk in now without hurting my feet"
"So do I. whispers I will try to keep it tidy Mummy, I promise"
Seems its a hit, and he's not missed anything yet, it has books/audiobooks, desk, limited toys, important cuddlies, bed, wardrobe & chest of drawers....and nothing:j:j:j else
a relieved MoamAlthough no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.
Snowball says too far away, working hard to bring it forward.0 -
Well I've had a pretty carp day. We were running late so I gave the DDs a lift to school. Forgot to turn my side lights off so got a flat battery
I'll put it on charge tomorrow morning.
I went to my friend's to get her help with my finances and walked away £500 a month poorer :mad::(
We contacted tax credits to tell them about my wages going down to get told I can no longer have working tax credit
I've now got to reapply for housing benefit and council tax benefit on monday.
As I've been out all day nothings been done at home but the DD's have said they'll help tomorrow.
I've explained, with the aid of a big pile of monopoly money the money situation but DD2 never really understands
Even though I have these money worries I still lent the boyfriendish some money, paid it into his bank. He's been texting all day 'til the money went in and now I've heard nothing
I'll never learn lol but we'll see what happens but I expect I can guess . . .

Whisky and sherry to be replenished next week as they've all “evaporated” again.
Yes, a bottle of whisky evaporated last week in our house...:o
However, I hid the vodka in a very safe place so that's OK till December. (Yeah, right!:rotfl: ) As it is Dudley Winter Ales Festival :beer:this weekend, the breakfasts are in stock for the invading hordes and I have the joy of sorting out the inflatable bed for one of them. Must wrap the Birthday Boy's presents while he's testing some ale in town.‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.
