I was normally quite good about keeping my room tidy but went through a CBA phase with it as a teenager, my mum put all my stuff in a bin liner in the middle of the floor...my room never got like that again!
Need to get flying but CBA, may look at doing the challenges first. I have been up since 4.45 for work so maybe I should allow myself some chill out time.

Thursday Feet glorious Feet
Feet work so hard and so unloved. Today exercise yours. How high can you lift your toes? Can you lift individual toes? Keeping your feet on the floor try to move your big toes towards each other. Use a spare rolling pin or tennis ball to massage the soles of your feet. Can you pick up small items like beanbags with your feet? Get the kids involved too.
Treat them to a soak and moisturise (your feet not the kids). Foot treat products make great gifts.
Friday Keep in Contact
Phone somebody you haven’t spoken to in ages and make their day. Don’t wait until Christmas to send a card asking how they are, do it in person. For those of you who will struggle with this go and read a bit of a board on here you have never visited. You don’t have to post.

Thursday Festive Food
Although stir up Sunday has just passed it’s not too late to make a pudding or a cake. My fantastic pudding recipe can be made just a week in advance. Have you got all the recipes and ingredients you need for any festive dishes? Cake boards and decorations to hand? Chocolate Yule logs are fun for kids and those who love chocolate.
Friday Festive Drinks
Have a think about drinks over the festive period. Mulled wine, Bucks Fizz, fruit cocktails, fizzy water and red cordial, prosecco? Try something new. Check any glasses you will need over the festive period are clean and sparklingMFW 2025 No. 7 £1931.07/£2700

Does anyone have any first hand knowledge of traditional German Christmas meals? I have looked online but just want to be sure. DH comes from a German background and I would like to honour his traditions and mine on Christmas eve seeing as this is the first Christmas we will have spent completely on our own. I have made a list of the stuff I know I definately need to make plus the extra baking I know he will want. I have a rough meal plan for the Christmas weekend and am going to sit down with DH tonight to see if we can decide when we are going to go visiting.
Going to try do some advert cleaning as I can't really be bothered.

I did this with my boys when they were about 6 and 8. Only I went one step further I binned everything that was on the floor, toys, clothes the lot, and this was in January and the vast majority of it was brand new Christmas stuff. They learned their lesson though as when I ask, with bin bags in hand, if they would like me to tidy their rooms now they go do it straight away.I'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged0 -
Bloomin' cold here too. *goes off to check weather forecast*Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0

ajmoney - you want Mrs Chaos for the Christmas customs, perhaps PM her?
Greenbee - didn't have chance to say good luck but I did think of you today.
I spent all day cleaning and unpacking at work and I am sore. DH spent the day making doors for the first run of cabinets and they are truely lovely. Absolutely delighted. I might even drum up the energy to start clearing the kitchen so that he can get on.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
what a day!
done an errand this morning and left the towels on the line - they were almost dry so about half an hour in the TD got them lovely and fluffy. Put bedding out - and resisted bringing it in during slight, short showers so it's virtually dry too - as the day has gone on it's got cold and very windy.
Made DS's bed. Need DD to clear carp off hers and need to iron my duvet cover before I make mine.
E bay rating has crept over 98% (am really suffering with the three negs I had) finally!
Cleaned kitchen and bathroom so getting there.

I'm quite surprised at the number of eBay free listing weekends TBH. I don't mind them:D but it's every 2 or 3 weeks now...‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.
