Thanks CG, I asked my mum how she coped. She told me to keep busy. Well given the whole house needs redecorating I'd say that's pretty easy to do :rotfl:
I think I need to use this diary to document what I've got to do, help me keep track and stay focused.
So today I need to
Bake
Declutter conservatory
Email about unused allotments
Sort and put away rest of [STRIKE]crap[/STRIKE] essential items taken away on holiday
Get last of holiday washing done as sun is currently out :TI have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

Look on it as the next adventure in the Life of the Beans Household.:o
Good luck, mate; we'll all be here to cheer you on.;)If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

True, I think it's fair to say when DD was home I got more done than when H is around :rotfl:
So jobs this weekend....
Frugal food shop
Trip to camping shop to buy reduced tent. (OK this doesn't sound very :money: but the tent we bought last year was melted thanks to H parking his hot scooter exhaust too close in the garage  anyway this one we've seen is £50 and I already have the gas burner, chairs etc from when we used to camp. Figured we need a few more weekends away)
Clear last of washing, I swear it breeds
Clean and vac car.....as it has half of Woolacombe beach in it
eBay some CM bits and pieces To get rid of declutter.

Confirmation that washing breeds..... I just looked in the wash bin and suddenly lost the will to live.:(
Only about 5% of it's mine, too!
And there's only the two of us here....:cool::cool:If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Sorry but I did :rotfl::rotfl: at you losing the will to live. where does it all COME from?!!! And it's not as if we're the sort of family who wears something once for a few hours and then puts for washing (underwear the only exception)
Well been busy this weekend, SILs cake was made, washing still not up do date but it's now being dwarfed by the pile of ironing
Car washed and hoovered, 4 packs of Aldi peppers from super 6 now diced and in freezer. I think we have enough frozen peppers now to last til they are next in season :T today's little lot was not the first
I need to get baking tomorrow in readiness of two lunchboxs frm weds onwards  had a wee cry last night at the thought of DD goingreally need to pull myself together
:o
We decided not to go and get the tent. H wanted to check out any future sales. Plus he needs a new mobile which is more important really so tent on the back burner for now.
Dinner nearly ready, I am hungry bring on the HM roasties cooked in the Remoska.I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

Officially the last day of summer hols. DS goes back tomorrow, DD has a 45 min taster session too and then from Weds it's all systems go full time
Much as I suspected H is achieving b*gger all whilst being at home. Yes yesterday was technically a Sunday BUT he annoys me when he says he's going to do x, y and z and then never does it. Apart from applying to some jobs he spent much of the day online
Anyway weather looks nice so might suggest a walk and a picnic to H and the kids since its their last day and TBH weather hasn't been all that great while we've been at home.
Had to order an all season duvet as we generally sleep year round with a summer weight on. Does get a bit chilly when we have a cold winter. Not to mention our duvet is mingling and needs a bloody good wash:o On the plus side duvet has about £9 off it but it's been a PITA to find a store that has it in stock. Thankfully one near my dads work has one remaining so he's volunteered to fetch it for me.
Right times-a-wastin' off to go rouse my Husband <insert evil icon>I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

*gives your H a kick up the bum*
can you set him things to do everyday? ask him to do a, b, c while you do x, y, z?
i know what you mean about kids going back. although ds has been at nursery since he was a baby, i've had him home for the past 6 weeks and have got used to him being here. his new nursery is a step closer to him going to school  i'm going to have fun getting me, him and baby out the door and walking round to the nursery by 9 am
you've reminded me about the carrots and peppers in the fridge..."I have learnt that even when I have pains, I don't have to be one""You may not control all the events that happen to you, but you can decide not to be reduced by them.”Maya Angelou0 -
£36 spent on uniform bits for DS <sigh> not an awful lot for the money
Got a list of stuff to do today, baking for lunchboxes, lawn mowing. Also decided that I am not going to waste money buying DD a pump bag for school. I have a spare thick v shaped pillowcase I am going to turn into one for her.
Right better get cracking
Lou you will have no problem getting the kids ready.....it's you you've got to worry aboutseriously though second child generally slot in far easier into lifestyle of family. Just remember wearing PJs on the school run is a fashion no no
