smooth radio Xmas is digital station so if you have one you can scroll through the channels and find it there. As an aside if you don't have a DAB radio I got my Grundig one for £25 from Tesco direct :money:


so half term over. Had a lovely time but its been another week where stuff hasn't got done. So back to the grindstone from now on.

H checked the bank accounts last night. Not much left in the one account due to decorating costs, starting xmas shopping and food etc. I think I've been a bit relaxed of late over my spending habits so need to sort that out

so my list for today is shaping up like this

paint bedroom wall
vac downstairs and dust
clean kitchen
START ACCOUNTS!!!

Need to have a think about what I am cooking for dinner too. My parents wanted to come round for dinner one night so might suggest tonight and make cajun chicken with the left over roast that I've saved.

Wow. Finally my bedroom looks.........well like a bedroom instead of a semi permanent dumping ground. Why oh why have I never sorted out my house this thoroughly before :o oh well least I am well and truly learning from my mistakes on house ownership and upkeep.

In other good news had a quote for new garage door. £380 including fitting it :money: bargain I reckon and significantly less than I was expecting to pay :T

Managed to vac upstairs and tidy round, pack stuff in vacuum sealed bags. More painting tomorrow, doing the landing which shoudnt take me too long

I know I know but by the time I've done decorating, household chores, walked dog it's time to pick up kids, reading and spelling with those, cook their tea, sort out mine and H's. then put them to bed. It wouldn't be so bad if I didn't have to work out week by week each value I can deduct because the percentage changes on how many hours I worked that week.
It's a loathesome job that's for sure.

Ladies get your flags and bunting out........Ive been working on my accounts for the last hour and a half woo hoo!!!

Ive also scoffed over half a packet of jaffa cakes whilst doing it though :eek::eek::eek:

Guess what I've done Not only have I completed my outstanding accounts, written up on spreadsheet and deductions applied I've also managed to submit my tax return online. I feel a weight has lifted as I don't have this hanging over my head.
