If you have a busy FB page they are worth it. It's not an auction so you have to set the price generally unless you invite offers. There are no fees unlike fleabay and its local so no postage only collection. That is the only downside really. Having to co-ordinate with people collection times etc.
However I have sold four items and made £15 so far. Not a fortune but least I don't have listing fees and fleabay fees to come out of that.
Money has gone straight into my money jar rather than my purse. That way I won't spend it
Hubby is still looking for a permanent job but he has a few irons in the fire so to speak so am confident the right job for him is out there.
Have managed to avoid going shopping this week....running low on a few things but am pleased I've not needed to go. Does show how much food I have in the house mind. Thank heavens for humongous freezers and stockpiling in my cupboards.I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knife

Been a while (as usual) since I posted. So we got Christmas out of the way, relatively cheaply too. Didn't go mad on presents on the kids for a change which felt pretty good.
Have been busy with knocking down a small wall to enlarge a bedroom and upcycling our pine bedroom furniture (which is about 18 years old). Used HM chalk paint and some wax and extremely pleased with the results :T:T
Back on the menu planning wagon which I prefer
The sales of kids toys didn't go as planned. I noticed a local domestic violence charity posting on the local selling site and I decided some poor kid who's had to leave all their toys behind would benefit more from my unwanted items than I really needed the few pounds
OS ways have ebbed and flowed a bit, not been too rigid about sticking to a shopping list (although I do still take one) and I have noticed the food bill has been creeping up a little. Time to take that back in hand and use the my supermarket app on the phone to give myself an idea of how much my shopping should cost.
The plan for next few months is more house decoration, a plasterer is coming in a weeks or so time to finish off wall adjustments so I can get cracking finishing off the bedrooms. Repainting will consist of using existing paints thankfully.
Although I don't have enough garden space for a veggie patch (not to mention the ground here is like sodding concrete ) I do want to utilise growing more salad and the like in the various pots and troughs I do have.
Not lots of earth shattering plans but that's how I want 2015 to go. I don't need grand plans and schemes, just the gentle rhythm of getting stuff done. I have been reminding myself of the two minute rule this week and I am getting way more stuff dealt with

Two minute rule is if any task takes less than two minutes to complete do it straight away

Meal planning for coming week is done.
Have costed it using an app and assuming nothing extra sneaks onto the list or into the basket trolley should cost £26. Just goes to show how full to bursting my cupboards and freezer are

I can't quite face the freezer inventory, it's a mahoosive chest freezer in the garage and quite frankly it's too cold in there and to be hanging head first into the freezer
well done on your inventory efforts. It's amazing how much we forget we have
What's up with Candy and her lump?
