Bigger :o though in my defense, I rarely had new shoes and was quite used to wearing shoes too big for me lol.
OK, sisters sharing clothes/shoes I get.... but I borrow Mr LW's wellies on a regular basis. And they fit!!!:rotfl:

:rotfl:Bit of both, I guess. I used to be a 4, but with the damage the arthritis has done, I can barely squeeze my great hoofs into a 6 these days. Mr LW has ickle feet for a bloke; size 7. Particularly surprising as he's 5'10" tall.:o OK, the wellies are roomy on me, but they're as comfortable as any footwear.:o And it saves buying a pair of my own, as I only really need them for taking dogs out to the back garden in wet/snowy weather.:money:

As usual this diary has fallen by the wayside :o

Update for anyone lurking but who doesn't either know me personally or posts on the OS daily.
    H got a new job :D:T
New job is 2 hours away in Bath
Cue massive house redecoration scheme which is still ongoing.
H started his job two weeks ago and is living inbetween two places and doing huge amounts of travel each week.

So it's half term, having a much needed break away down where H is staying. It's a surprise as neither him nor the kids know :D house redecoration will resume after half term :)

I need to get back into posting on here to keep me motivated with our goal in mind, however that's something for another day.

Good to see the diary resurrected, Bitsy. Enjoy half term with DH; it will all work out, trust me. The difficult bit is behind you - DH has a job. It can only get better now. Wolfy says so, therefore it must be true!:rotfl:

I may be talking a load of rot here, but maybe DS can think of it as exploring a new bit of the planet, to help him cope with the change of home when it happens? I gather he's into space exploration and such-like.:o Just a thought, feel free to dismiss it as Wolfy's mithering again.;)

    All suggestions welcome Wolfy ;)

He's coping ok at the moment but then time doesn't have much concept aged 7 ;)

Had a lovely break in Bath, am falling in love with the city the more I go :D

So today consists of writing a list of the jobs left to tackle along with nursing my tiredness after a busy 3 days with lots of driving. And writing a shopping list because we are running out of stuff.
And I MUST finish my accounts because I don't want to be doing last mad panic in January :o

So house list consists of the following:

Replace garage door. Trust me when I say this is essential if this house is to have kerb appeal ;)

Decorate our bedroom, one wall should suffice where wall has been patched due to yet another shelf being removed from the wall

Decorate landing and stairs. Part done and thankfully it's emulsion so I love my painting :)

Decorate lounge. This mostly consists of emulsion and one wall to be papered. Thankfully paper and paint already bought and lurking around the house.

New stair carpet. Again there are blood stains on the carpet  courtesy of KC aka killer cat and her victims. Despite scrubbing these wont shift along with associated stains from attempts to give DS fluorescent glow in the dark amoxicillin during a previous ear infection. Will only be cheap carpet and again it's about selling the house.

Thankfully school are having a collection of textiles etc so bag of unwanted items can be dispatched in their direction.

Outside.......garden looking well autumnal. Not terribly inspiring and as usual the two massive oak trees are hanging on to leaves for dear life. Why they can't shed them in a timely manner like other trees I don't know. Garden will be cut back and tidied once decorating finished and house on market.

Right BM beckons because we are living on shop bought bread and its carp!!! :(

Sitting looking at kitchen !!!!!! aka Lakeland catalogue ;) and have just made a small list of things to do this weekend. However when the entire family is home such well laid plans rarely come to fruition but hey ho the list is thus

Finish last of washing and ironing
Clean kitchen and push vac round
    Make cinnamon buns
Make biscuits and muffins for kids lunch boxes next week
Sweep leaves in garden, weather dependent

And much to hubby's disgust I am über excited that Smooth Radio Xmas is now on the air again and I am free to indulge my festive urges :rotfl:

Also occurred to me that I do associate coffee and tea as drinking in a rush, stood at the kitchen worktop. I've read someone else's post on another forum about how she's sitting knitting (I can't knit but still) with a pot of tea. This sounds nuts but i love this idea but the only tea pots we have are either family sized or a small chrome one. And as daft as this sounds I think it's better in a ceramic pot :o so I think I might treat myself to a nice pot and cup and saucer to match and make sitting drinking tea more of a ritual to make me stop and be mindful. Sounds like a cop out of doing stuff which of course it is ;)
