Popped in to an Extra store last night on the way back from visiting the mother in law in hospital and got a couple of things. Finally got some 1p leaf trays!! :j Havent seen these anywhere before so really pleased! They only had 5 left and I'm afraid I took them all for the older children (not only handy for eating from but also for them to use upstairs when they are doing card making and crafts!) I also got 11 of the big lollies for £1.00 (I think I will hide these on the Christmas tree on Christmas eve!), but my fav find was the fast rechargable battery charger! Still scanning at £2.00 so really pleased! :j

    Hi all
Just back from mr t so havent read back yet.

Big hug to op, i got a £25 shoulder of lamb for free!!!!!

Whilst i was at cs. A very posh man was getting £300 plus dtd.

It was for an in date offer on finest champagne. All i could work out from ticket was 19.99 each or 2 for £35. Offer didnt kick in. He had 12 bottles.

His fac e was a picture when they told him how much he was getting back, but they put it on a gift card, sneeky devils. They werenso flustered about the amount, they didnt take into account the 25% off!

I never check alcohol cause im a coke girl but there are glitches to be had, esp as you can use double up on finest as well.

    Hope that helps someone.
Please don't judge me. you couldn't handle half of what I've been through.
  • Not v happy, just got result of JTD from my haul of celebrations and it has not compared them at Asda, it says N/A. I know I want to have my cake and eat it (did not get the carrot cake!) Anyone got any advice or do I put it down to experience and the game we play!!
    thanks

The trays scanned at full price for me last night. There was a stack of 'em and I had to ask the CA to take them off the bill as I'd changed my mind. Maybe they have new stock with a different B/C
Still virtually alcohol free since 4/1/15. (10 Xmas/ New Year/Birthday drinks)

not much you can do I'm afraid, you can check Asda's website if it's there, the weight etc. and try to give them a call but don't hope for much... if you get something that's lucky :)
