I have to admit, I didn't get the chocs to get a JTD but when I looked at mysupermarket yesterday, both T & A had Celebrations but A were showing as not having Heroes. Thankfully I got one of each so an extra £5 back in JTD but very very nasty of Ts - are we really surprised?0 -

Hi all,
Came across a nice little bargain yesterday, the wonder of the world themed car freshner with an art deco scene of new york on it is scanning at 3p
Barcode and pic to follow.......0 -
Ohhhh I can feel a 220 packs of Wine gums coming on 1 packet for every child in the School and paid £26 to take them away.
Now that would be great fun to see Customer Services face.
But I just don't have the bottle to do it, maybe they would ban me again.:D0 -
Wine worked for me too, thanks OP. I didn't try the half price ones, as I assumed the till would see the discounted, not original, price, but did several of the 3 for £12 offers. The till sees the original price and then discounts twice. First it takes off the total cost of three bottles minus £12 (so 3 x £6.79 = 20.37 and to get that down to £12, it refunds £8.37). Then, as I actually bought six of these, they scanned at £40.74 in total. The till then returned 25% of this, ie £10.19, making the total cost of the six bottles £13.81.
I went back and did it again, forgetting that the more expensive the original price, the more discount you get. Will remember that next time!0 -
BTW, Tesco Prestwich has loads of the price drop A4 leaflets straight ahead of you as you go in. Walkden had none. Celebrations and Quality Street were sadly scanning correctly at the new lower price.
But does anyone know if the Walkden store is still selling these at £10, by any wonderful chance?!0 -
I got the wine gummies and lollies yesterday and SEL said till the 5th December.A bargain is something you don't need at a price you can't resist0

My T's must have latched onto it and overridden the deal, but I did really buy a "few" out of there!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Possibly I drew their attention to them;);)
Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -

OK, since getting back from our weekend down with MSE friends in Portsmouth on Monday, I have been trying deperately to catch up on this thread and have stayed up tonight to make sure I did, otherwise, I just keep missing out on deals
:rotfl:
So many posts to read but I just had to comment on this one, having three dogs did you guess? all Jack Russell/Jack Russell cross, and watching our eldest at 16 years old getting slower and wobblier on her feet, I had to add my (((hugs))) and best wishes
I could never understand when I was young why my Dad said no more dogs as he was the one who had to take them to the vets when their time was up. But after having to take 3 to be put down after illness and one killed by another dog when I had him on the lead, I have to say that I know what he meant. However, this would never stop me having another dog or dogs. If I had done that in the past, I would never have shared my life with the later dogs and had the great memories I have of them
So Mona Lisa, it is hard but try to think back on the good times you shared with your wee doggie and what you brought to each others lives, adn do not be afraid to get another dog as there is one out there that needs you as much as you need them
Great news Snap-ant and thank you for helping this poor doggie - for being there for them when they needed you
So, now I am up to date, I'm on for joining in with the daily quiz from tomorrow  Night all
Thanks for the kind words and hugs 3 Dogs. I do have another dog, its hard watching her, she keeps going over to where my wee dog used to lie all the time, sniffing around and then lying in that spot so its obvious she is missing her too. My wee dog who died was 18 so I had had her for a very long time. Its still very strange walking into the house and not seeing her wee face or hearing her barking and I keep going to give her tit bits and then realising she's not there
On another note I picked up a few bargains in T's the other night. Will post pics and barcodes later once I get home from work. Pregnancy brain has hit again and I can't remember what they were called, can see them but cant see the name of them if that makes sense, (probably not as it doesn't to me ) Think i'm waffling here. Anyway a wee clue one of them is a toy, lie detector thingy and the other thing is a baby thing!!
Ok signing off as i'm sounding like a weirdo and I promise i'm not, i'm just a regular person who seems to be losing their mind at the moment :rotfl:I'm not really a new user, just wanted a new username
Baby on board, due 06/03/20120
