Well next time, please read comments properly instead of making accusations as I didn't even post about JTD vouchers! You are obviously accusing the wrong person. The last thing I posted about was in response to meerkat and locarr about the honey nut shreddies voucher!

Agreed. It wasn't this poster JJ.

Bought 12 bottles of wine with the discount. Thanks to people for posting. Cut out the £1 off voucher for Celebrations but when I got to Mr T, I saw the Quality Street tins for £3.99 so I got them instead because we prefer them so I didn't use the voucher. My husband has had to hide both the wine and chocolates to stop me drinking/eating them before Christmas! He had to hide the selection boxes (the ones that were 3 for £3 a couple of weeks ago) too because I ate 5 of the 12 that I bought and now have to buy more!

Also bought 3 lots of the Princes tomatoes but, for some strange reason, he doesn't need to hide these!

Does anyone know if the Holyhead store is ok? Does it have an instore scanner, etc?

We are going on a luxurious break in Anglesey soon and this is our nearest one although over 10 miles away!

I'm gonna hate not having it within an easy distance. We will be needing to top up our groceries though at some point whilst away.

I'm sure theres a really big store in Bangor too which might be worth a visit.

What a load of Bo**ocks. I have been offered a £20 gift card which is ok but it doesn't cover the DTD. So I think I might email uncle phil. I am not greedy and I dont very often go for things I know I would get DTD this has really put me off shopping in Ts.

Its a result (of sorts) so just move on. Playing the 'tesco game' isn't always going to result in a win everytime. Overall though you'll get lots of bargains etc so a game worth playing.

Forget about it now and concentrate on making your £20 gift card work for you! ;)
  • Hi guys, am after a quick recap if possible (currently on page 240 so a way to go!)

    Thanks :) x
    If it ain't reduced, i don't buy it! :j

Managed to get 12 bottles of wine for just over £20 so very happy

Was charged £1.59 for the Rocky chocolate bars and was man trouted by the duty manager spouting all kinds of excuses as to why the price was wrong and he would honour the DTD.

I feel a call to HO coming on....... :D

Random it may be but does anyone else agree that Tesco's currenly have one of the best pay monthly sim only deals on in the market currently. We have the family sim deal on the monthly rolling contract, capped as well for 9.38 (each) giving us 500 mins, 5000 texts and 500MB data allowance. All of this and clubcard points as well! The customer service is also brilliant. Very happy customer for sure!

HTH someone at the very least :)

  • Hi all, firstly comfort pure is £1.80 in my store :(

Secondly, this morning I purchased some Mega lollies and wine gums (11 in total) but the lady on the till only put 10 through without me spotting it. So off to customer services I went and she came me a refund and then charged me £1. I queried DTD and she said this isn't classed as that as you have been charged correctly now. This isn't right is it?
