    Hi all
Just back from mr t so havent read back yet.

Big hug to op, i got a £25 shoulder of lamb for free!!!!!

Whilst i was at cs. A very posh man was getting £300 plus dtd.

It was for an in date offer on finest champagne. All i could work out from ticket was 19.99 each or 2 for £35. Offer didnt kick in. He had 12 bottles.

His fac e was a picture when they told him how much he was getting back, but they put it on a gift card, sneeky devils. They werenso flustered about the amount, they didnt take into account the 25% off!

I never check alcohol cause im a coke girl but there are glitches to be had, esp as you can use double up on finest as well.

    Hope that helps someone.

Hi, please can you give me more info on the shoulder of lamb? Can't seem to find it. Thanks in advance. Also, please do you have any more info on the champers? And idea what the name is at all? And can I just say wow.....how nice for that man not to get trouted for that much DTD!
:D if you don't have anything nice to say, keep schtum.
  • I think I read on another thread that the 2 for £35 champagne offer had ended so presumably this lucky man found an ood sel.

not much you can do I'm afraid, you can check Asda's website if it's there, the weight etc. and try to give them a call but don't hope for much... if you get something that's lucky :)

First person I spoke to at HO said no and I should read T&C. I did and rang back as it said
    1. Where the item is not available for comparison on the Asda Home Shopping site, the product is shown as 'not available' (N/A).
Well I checked and the same item is on the home shopping site. The lovely lady I spoke to second time is very kindly sending me a £25 card:T

Hi Well I didn't get a chance to check on here this am so just tried my luck at my local for the wine - they had sign up for sydney cove shiraz/cabernet 3 for £12 but no wine !

I asked nice SA to check out back and he came back with 1 box ! I asked him to get me 2 more lol

    Went to till - 18 wine @ 6.79 = £122.22
    Wine 3 for £12 = -£50.22
    Wine discount = - £30.56
    Total to pay = £41.44

Needless to say I went back for 2 more boxes - total for 12 of above wine = £27.63

Its a nice enough wine too, am very pleased! Sorted for the whole festive season !

    well done you! :T
I never bother to argue with them over it(or never did back in the good dtd days) as they have it in the T&Cs that they don't enter into "any correspondece regarding n/a items" but good to know you can still "win" :)
