I think I read on another thread that the 2 for £35 champagne offer had ended so presumably this lucky man found an ood sel.

It most definately was in date. Just that the offer has been pulled in favour of the 25%.
Please don't judge me. you couldn't handle half of what I've been through.

Know you're all busy with the wine bargains but.....

Nestle After Eight Mints. OOD SEL stating £1.50 half price from £3. Sure enough, scanned at £3.

Dithered over how many to put in my trolley, eventually put in 2.

Went through check out with mental n ote of how much total should have been, and it was over that.

Checking receipt, a Nestle 2 for £4 discount kicked in.

Oh dear thinks I, not free after eight mints, but could get them for £1 each.

CS girl was so flustered/busy/queues, she failed to take into account the fact that I'd already had one discount, and refunded me the £6 DTD.

Nett result, £2 off other shopping :)

End date for SEL was 29/11.

Check Christmas Aisle, end of aisles for large cardboard displays of these and the sweets/choc aisle.

    HTH

Thanks for the kind words and hugs 3 Dogs. I do have another dog, its hard watching her, she keeps going over to where my wee dog used to lie all the time, sniffing around and then lying in that spot so its obvious she is missing her too. My wee dog who died was 18 so I had had her for a very long time. Its still very strange walking into the house and not seeing her wee face or hearing her barking and I keep going to give her tit bits and then realising she's not there :(

We lost one of ours suddenly in August, she had just turned 8, its just sooooo hard and upsetting..

My heart goes out to you...

We still miss her dearly, she was the biggest pain in the a**e out of all of them, which makes things a lot harder as I was forever telling her to get out of the way while I was cooking etc etc etc :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:...
she collapsed on the side of the road August bank holiday Monday while out on their walk and 3 hrs later the vet phoned to say that she'd passed away :(:(... We commented that it was typical of her to have to call the vet in on a bank holiday!!!! she was such a drama queen... bless her...

But we have some wonderful memories of her and we shall treasure every single one..

It'll take time, but you'll get there love... xxxx huge hugs xxxx

Hi everyone! It's been such a long time since I posted. I've been so stressed out from work, have lost the will to find a good glitch.:( Can you believe the last time I went to T's was for the Frijj glitch!

But, today, I thought I needed a break and went to a local metro after work, got some Dormen's cashew nuts, no DM, loads of packs of boucy balls, so got a couple more.
On the way out, saw the Price Check leaflets and I was thinking :j, tried looking for the items mentioned here, but most were correctly labelled, but got 4x cappuccino and 4x Rocky.
At CS, had to wait for the SA who could do overcharges, apparently he had gone to the toilet:rotfl:, it took him 10 mins! another 10 mins of 'selcted stores' 'not metros' 'only refund' e.t.c finally agreed to DTD. The poor lad took so long calculating it!
First time getting DTD from Metro!:T

I'm looking ofrward to a nice long relaxing weekend and may go to a bigger T!:T

p.s. can someone please PM me the comfort voucher. Also, do these scan ok? (I can be a wimp with vouchers, but I'm learning!)

    Thanks!
