Well done! I trust you're back now?
Yep!I've not had a great week audit wise, so might be pulled myself on Monday...
For some reason, I received one of the queries from my first re-qualification test back as an audit. The judge reckoned it was some kind of glitch which shouldn't have happened, but think I made a mistake by accepting it instead of appealing again, cos I was then unable to take a screenshot when they asked for one. Suppose it will just be counted against me now?!Today has been horrible query wise. I've had a number of disturbing x-rated queries. Has actually been really unpleasant.
That doesn't sound good. Nothing like that so far for me, thank goodness, although still 42 minutes to go yet. When I've experienced anything like that in the past, I usually just log out for a couple of hours and hope it'll be gone by the time I return. Possibly not the best course of action, but still..0 -
Test, are you getting those two Hitapps consistently? From ON also.
it's been days since i received polygon and categorize the query.
yesterday there was one hitapp which gave like 0.03 per hit called core relevance judgement.
there was also hitapp w/c pays 0.04 per hit called salient entities, too bad i can't figure out the trick behind getting correct answers, and also, it takes time to do this hitapp, so it defeats the purpose of getting more money in short time.
still waiting for high paying hitapps like categorize query/polygon verification .0 -
Doesn't sound good MallRat - the audits are such a pain full stop.
I'm 99% sure I'm going to at best be placed on SLR come Monday, or at worst (and most probably) sacked.
I had nearly 20 audits, which is the most I've ever had in a week. A couple though judged me to be off-by 2, so no doubt the metrics will be flashing red for me...
On another note, did anyone else get the email from the linguistics/transcription dept about the work this weekend? Not very interesting, but an easy bit of cash. First time they've ever given me any tasks sadly.0 -

Not sure how many I had. Think it was less than 20, but then I didn't work on Monday as I was still on review.
Don't count the RTAs either, but it seems I got 7 of them wrong anyway. One of which was VERY strange in my opinion.
Hopefully we can all make it through. Only time I ever seem to find myself missing three metrics is when I've actually felt I had a GOOD week.On another note, did anyone else get the email from the linguistics/transcription dept about the work this weekend? Am assuming this is related to the spelling test? If so, I've taken it, but not accepted the contract as I was worried about needing to get hours in. Are you having to do the work, or is it optional?0 -
The google glass project is being offered to everyone who meets the requirements, it's not part of any particular contract other than having it's own agreement.0
-
Yes it's the glass project. Very dull, but an easy cash bonus.
I did the spelling test months ago and got 99%, however, I've never had any work through it - I can't remember signing a contract?
I'd rather do that kind of work over the search engine evaluation too.0 -

Well, I obviously don't meet the "requirements", then, as I haven't heard anything about it..Yes it's the glass project. Very dull, but an easy cash bonus.

It's basically just an agreement on the screen, and at the end you have to press either "submit" or "reject". Might be worth logging back into your account to check? It's the first thing I see when I log in to mine. Pretty disappointing if you did sign it, but there's just NO work at all, though.0 -
To make sure, do you login through this link?

If so, I still don't see any contract
All I get is..
'You are not assigned to any active projects at this time. A supervisor will contact you via email when a suitable project becomes available.
Please ensure that you have attempted the spelling test for any language you are fluent in at the Qualifications tab, and that your details are up to date at the Account tab'.0 -

Yep, that's the link. The agreement is right there under the "Available work" tab for me. So looks like you already accepted it, and that this Google glass thing IS linked to it, which would explain why I wasn't contacted. Only other explanation would be that if you don't "accept" or "reject" within a certain amount of time, the agreement disappears, and you maybe need to take the test again.0 -
Maybe I did sign it then and just can't remember. They seem to have a contract for everything so quite easy to lose track...
Sadly I've never had any work at all until this weekend, despite signing up months ago. I took the tests in English for most regions and got above 90% in all. Oh well...
Have to admit though that I'm losing my mind with this task... it's so repetitive.0
