Hi all,
I've just accepted the contract for transcription and entered my PayPal details, but I'm not entirely sure what I should be doing now! Should I take the search evaluation qualification as well, or should I just leave it and wait for them to contact me?DFD: 2017  | Savings: £1

Aaarrrggghhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just been informed that I've been removed from production YET AGAIN. Thought I'd figured out what the problem was and had therefore solved it, but clearly not.
SO angry with this company right now. Can't even fire off an angry email as no idea who my "manager" or whatever is, as every time they contact me it seems to have a different name on it.
Am pretty sure that if you're removed 3 times within 3 months you get fired. Well, I've now been removed twice and only started working for them less than a month ago, so looks like its all going to be over for me within a matter of weeks.
Is there anyone else on here currently working as an W.S.E., who can offer any sort of advice?! :mad:0 -
I can't advise but I'm in the same position MallRat - I can't even get on to find out where I've messed up, don't know if the site's playing up or if it's me.
It's a shame bacause I'm quite enjoying the work and do feel like I'm getting the hang of it. Your experience last week made me hopeful that there would be another chance after a 'suspension'. I guess we'll see...0 -

Hiya.
Did you just start the job last week, or have you been working for them for longer than that?
Am also unable to get any info out of "that" site. Was expecting it to be updated some time yesterday, but still nothing there yet.0 -
Nope - this is my third week.0
-
This is week 2 for me and I feel like I sit here on my own for 4 hours every day just clicking on things and one day next week they will tell me I am doing it all wrong and I'm fired.
I have no confidence that I am doing it right so no satisfaction at all.
I had no idea 4 hours was such a long time...If you're not scared, you're not paying attention0 -

This is how I was feeling all last week.0 -

It was at the beginning of my third week that I got removed the first time. So seems that there might be a pattern emerging here...Minnie-the-Minx wrote: »This is week 2 for me and I feel like I sit here on my own for 4 hours every day just clicking on things and one day next week they will tell me I am doing it all wrong and I'm fired.

Something tells me you may possibly be hearing something from them around this time next week. Although hopefully not, obviously...
I've actually found the 4 hours per day easier than I expected to be honest. Which is kind of unfortunate considering I may not have the job for much longer...
Mmmm... Wonder if its worth making a third application to the dreaded Leapforce?! :mad:0 -
Have you applied to Leapforce before? I did, a few months ago, and the first contact I had from them was an email telling me that I hadn't logged in and done some tests (or something...). I had got this job by then so never pursued it but they seemed awfully disorganised.0
