If you're on the same as me, I've had an email to say it's only just closed and payment will be mid June :D

Received it this morning pretty much as soon as I replied to this topic :)

Yes, specifically says it in the guidelines. Not sure if it's different to the crowd sourcing work as it was a one of annotation task. Hopefully they will reply to me today.

Sorry, I was talking about the crowd sourcing. Hopefully I'll get paid this week. Badly need it and stressing out about it.

Anyone else doing the 20 hours a week?

Well, on Monday I was just about to begin my third week when I received an email informing me that I'd missed the previous week's quality metrics, and was therefore banned from working. As far as I can see this has happened purely as a result of a mistake in THEIR guidelines. I'm currently having to pass a load more exams in order to be allowed back in, and it seems like I just failed the first one by one question...

So much for my lovely new job!
  • You have my sympathies MallRat.

To have this penalty as early as week 3 seems very harsh. Having only just started I would have to say that I think it will take quite a bit of settling into the rhythm of things before being anything like up to speed.

    Thanks Minnie. :)

I actually had no problems doing the required number of tasks per hour, and actually managed to exceed the minimum by quite a lot.

It's all down to an instruction in the guidelines which apparently only applies to the US workers, only it didn't actually say that, so I therefore went on to rate about 50% of the tasks wrongly. Luckily I don't seem to be alone though. According to the quality website, they currently have less than 10 people working for them in the UK, and over half of us are now on a ban. :rotfl:

Have submitted my second test, and will now just have to see what happens tomorrow I suppose. :(
