I'm back again
Mostly done now, but a few bits left to do, the house is gleaming like never before so a few piles of clean washing isn't gonna bother me, at one time they would have been dirtyPlasterer's just been, a day early  but nevertheless it's done now, I was panicking in case he made a mess in my clean kitchen, he did, he's council they do nothing else  so just mopped it all up.
Went to prepare tea for tonight and got a shock, my hob isn't working  it's been on the blink for a year or so now, but it looks like it's finally died a death, only thing is I've got no money to replace it (unless I can get one for £40 from B&Q) hoping OH might have a look at it and have a spare (he fits kitchens) *fingers crossed* SO, that idea went out the window, gonna see what I can microwave instead.
*kicks everyone up the backside that wants it* you can do it gals, and what you don't get done will still be there tomorrow so no biggie :kisses3:0 -

Spent an hour out at Asda/Aldi and didn't come back with any gloves for OH as they didn't have any...but I did come back with loads of fresh fruit/veg, cous cous (I will find a way of us liking it
), frozen fruit from Aldi, and a couple of reduced bits. I also got a 1.75kg gammon joint which is currently bubbling away in the biggest pan I have :rotfl: I'm hoping to have it sliced and hidden before OH comes home otherwise this one won't last an hour either
Fortunately on my way to and from Asda/Aldi I managed to find £1.43 just laying in the road :money: Soooo seeing as I forgot to take back some smoked salmon which was off when I opened it (:o) I decided to just bin it and put the equivant money (£1.18) from the found money in my purse and the rest in my savings bottle.I estimate to have around about £15ish if not more money in there now
Now I really must get on with clearing this hotspot before it's time to go and get DD from school:wave:
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 - Dailies

Well done pigpen :T I think we all deserve a pat on the back today, we've all worked so hard. To everyone
(((((((((((((lilme))))))))))) hope he's better soon poor love, and poor you having to clean it all up lol0 -
Back from school eventually.. it is FREEZING out there!!!
I got 2 cooked chickens for dinner.. need some peas, but was not going in a shop with this lot.. I had to frisk 3 of them before we left the chemist when I collected my sisters prescription... most embarassing!!
I think we need a '20 thing pick-up' in the backroom.. basically everyone picks up 20 things.. that is 200 things when we all do it together, but there are only 6 of us here to do it, 120 things will have to do! I have 2 boxes still to sort through and need to wash most of it I think. I keep finding loads of tiny baby bits.. what shall I do with them? I don't know whether to keep them or not in truth.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Thanks for the hugs, I needed those.
Pigpen you are right, at least he's not vomited yet, but the dog has! Agreed, it is very cold outside, and the oldest was 15 minutes late out of school (whole school was late out) just pleased DS2s tummy held out while we were waiting.
Oh the fun, 4th load of washings in, did a dust and wipe in sitting room, have done floor but will do it again when little men go to bed (and wipe when needed in between) I wonder if I attatch him to a cloth he can clean as he goes :rotfl:
Kitchen next and get the rest of dinner prepared and cooking (forgot to do the carrots darn it! )
One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
we 'were' going to have chicken casserole, but I forgot to defrost the chicken .. so I left the potatoes and carrots in the SC and bought some ready cooked chickens and will make gravy with SC liquid. I feel a bit mean though as the children said they had chicken and potatoes for lunch.. too late now!
I need another cuppa I think... then I can hang the washed nets back up and I've just remembered there is a mountain of washing hidden on the landing.. oops!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
jjef wrote:Tuesdays list which is -
- Dailies (DW, WM, Beds, Ironing) - ALL DONE
- Kitchen windows (too tired to do them today), clean out WM drawer
- Moggins - Lounge & Hall (live in a bungalow so don't have stairs) -DONE apart from windows hoping to persuade OH when he comes home
Have also made two pots of soup, spag bol for tonight and one for freezer, and have flung 27 bits out, WM x2 which is now for ironing but again that will get done tonight.
All in all quite a productive day.
Hope all feel better soon, loud music while flying does help and definetly something you can sing your heart out to without anyone around to tell you off.0 -
I don't actually feel like I've worked very hard today...
I just have to hoover the stairs and dust the skirting boards in living room and hall and I've done moggins list!
:j
EDIT: ALL DONE! :beer:Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
