Hallway, stairs - dusted, hoovered, etc
Livingroom dusted, hoovered
Only me so doesn't get bad now I am on top of it.

However I am a 'layer-down' rather than a 'putter-away' so am working through the piles (mainly paper) on my flat surfaces.

Plus have one bag for charity shop collection on Thurs :j

I really need to sort kitchen cupboards. It's a U shape which means I have two cupboards that go back under the middle bit IYSWIM. So have to decide what gets put in there that I want to keep but don't use very often (like the marmalade pan)

not done any flying yet, lots of work to do, so am being disciplined! it's so much easier with a tidy desk!!
flying will have to wait til its all finished, though i have washed some scatter cushions and a sofa throw!

Im not doing to well today - ie made a stew in the SC and wiped the worktops down, but thats it. Not feeling to good today, and did loads yesterday so im not going to push myself today - might try and attempt some more later if i feel up to it.

I know how you feel; I think I burnt myself out last week!

Come on! Just fifteen minutes here and there won't kill us. We'll do it together

I've put Lily Allen on and I've hoovered the lounge now. Going to clean down the TV and surfaces next.

Afternoon everyone.

I've been good. I've been out for a walk, and paid in cheques, made an appointment at the bank to open the baby a savings account, and got myself some bargains from the local supermarket. The windows are clean on the outside (not me - but definitely worth £2.50).

I've also flung some bits of paper, done some shredding, and read a magazine which can now go :T

Baby just woke up again, so i will grab some lunch (soup from the freezer, which is hopefully nicer than i remember it being last time) and then try to hoover the living room. He doesn't mind the noise of the hoover, so i'll do kitchen, living/dining room, and the hall if the cats are behaving.


For those of you downhearted, I was moaning to DH last night about how little i felt i'd done, and he said, actually, you've done loads, much more than i would have managed if i'd been the one at home. And you know what - i think he is right. It is just my perfectionism again. Remember the motto. Progress, not perfection in 2007! We are all making a difference. We just need to believe in ourselves.
