Oh by the way anyone got any good tips for getting mould of the vertical fabric type blinds (think they may be called vertical blinds) I wondered about steeping in Milton and then chuck in the washing machine but if anyone has any tips????????0 -
Just having a breather - living room done, dragged out the settees and hoovered and scrubbed underneath them, did window and it was WORSE than I thought lol, dragged out tv and found 3 months (yes it's been that long) worth of dust, half a biscuit and half a packet of broken doritos ewwww! just waiting for floor to dry then gonna wipe over leather settees, gonna do the paintwork/glass in hallway then scrub the laminate - I think I'm developing housemaids knee
My living room has never sparkled so much in it's life - ever, oh and electrician's been and fixed a dodgy socket so now it just needs plastering, coming tomorrow for that!

Is Stardrops safe to use around birds?
I have to be careful using chemicals in my flat as I have two cockatiels. A lot of products give off fumes that can be fatal to birds (Febreeze, for example). Is Stardrops safe to use? Does it say anything on the back about how it affects pets??
Please can someone advise me?

Thankyou rebl43.

I've done The List, no voile or nets but I've washed the throws off the settee and armchair and put clean on. Moved all the furniture and did behind but they go down to the floor and the cushions don't have gaps so no hoovering under or in between.
Carried on and did kitchen floor and then hoovered loads of crumbs out from the toaster. It seems like no matter how many you get out there are always more. I think there are little elves in there busy making more as fast as they can.
And I've cut the grass out the front! The back is just a mangled mess where the dog has trolled all over it all through that awful rain we had a couple of weeks ago so that will have to dry out a bit more but the front wasn't too bad at all.
I've hung out the washing again, and again it's not doing anything, but at least it's out of the way for a few hours.0
