wow  this new thread really seems to do the trick :D

well, despite a very slow start i managed quite a few things.

kitchen is clean, surfaces empty, d/w about to finish, 1 load of washing left, rest is folded and ready to go up, all downstairs is sweeped, toys are off the floor (useless to do it that early really, but none could move around anymore),

didn't do a bit in the bathroom though :o - but hey, sometimes babystep will lead the way ...

    keep it up girls!!! :T
I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work ;)

    Hello everyone

Is there another thread for people who are new to all this, or is it just a 'jump in' thing? Where's the best place to ask questions?

I've tried using the flylady website and emails but got stuck at the shoes - we have cream carpets and it is verboten to wear shoes in our house

Spiddy.. just jump in.. don't try to play catch up just start at today! And if it is really bad.. it didn't get that way in a day so tidying it won't take 5 minutes. Don't try to do too much you just burn out. Ask questions right here!! I tend to make questions in bold type or a different colour so they are more noticable. baby steps are the key!

Therefore I have a house like a skip and my kitchen is half done and the children are upstairs trashing.. lol

I don't wear shoes in the house either.. I sometimes forget to wear them out of the house as well!!

    and hello and welcome!!

Having to reduce my flying today, have done the dailies so far and most of the kitchen, cooker inside was done last week so am going to leave it for now. Have done some of the others but the rest will just have to wait, as even though the course pack didn't arrive until last Friday (instead of a month ago as most would have, issue with payment) I can't get the time extended on this assignment, so have until tomorrow to get it sent and I can't miss the meeting tonight. Oh grrrr!
One day I might be more organised...........

    Thanks pigpen :hello:

Will try to follow the threads for a few days and see if I get the hang of it, I'll ask my questions then - hopefully they will get answered as we go along.

Coincidentally, I spent most of this afternoon cleaning the kitchen, so with a bit extra this evening I'll be good to go :) I've got two LOs under three so I think it's going to be a case of doing as much as I can - I might get to wipe the bathroom down later if I push myself.........

give the older one a microfibre cloth and send off to work! They usually LOVE to help.. and it is very good training for when they are adults.. never too soon to learn.. (she says with a 2 year old who vacuums!! lol)

ETA.. I have an empty spray bottle which I fill with water occasionally and she washes the floor or the leather sofas.. or whatever I point her at and say 'clean that'.. plus if they squirt themselves in the eye or inevitably end up drinking it you know it is safe. It is her special one and she has never tried to drink a different bottle.. before anyone jumps on my head for this one lol. She won't even have another one if offered.

And even found time to do some cooking with dd after school, now thats a first time for a long while.
