Are they home grown apples or from the supermarket? I keep my apples for a whole year and just use them as I need them. If you get some of the plastic containers that garden centres use to keep plants in pots. I scrunch up a bit of newspaper and put in each hole then put one apple on top of this. Each tray holds about 20 or so apples and I keep the trays usually about 6 or so ( the rest I give away)This keeps the apples from touching so if 1 goes rotten it doesn't get the near any others so they keep longer.Keep them cool in a garage or shed and they last all year.Barneysmom wrote: »I've got a carrier bag full of apples and don't know what to do with them.
