    Thank you for your email.

I will look into he issue you have raised. Certain stores do have serious problems with getting swamped by children and theft from groups of children. In these circumstances we do have to implement a no unaccompanied children policy (say at lunchtimes), but this is the exception rather than the rule. In these instances it needs to be policed at the door, i.e. groups need to be told at the door they can not enter, only 2/3 children allowed in at any one time etc.

I would agree with you that the current policy implemented at the store will cause confusion and lose us sales, not what we or our customers want.

Nice to see a company holding it's hands up - hope they get it sorted. Been a while since I was at school but that would reallllly annoy me.

I notice that there has been no apology though. This would wind me up even more than being made to feel embarrassed in the first place

I realise that an apology might be seen to be an admission of error, and that 'Joe Morris' would be reluctant to admit to such an error, but surely a carefully worded apology wouldn't have gone amiss. Maybe "I'm sorry that you/your daughter have been made to feel uncomfortable at our store..." , or something similar. Just my opinion anyway...

Haven't had a [strike]H&B[/strike] HB hit for about a week now, think I might go this afternoon :D

Just been to the Normanton HB (Derby) and they've got the Harpic Ready Brush loo cleaning systems for 99p (brush, holder & spray foam bleachy stuff)

They also had some lovely padded picnic holdalls with mealamine plates, mugs, metal cutlery and other bits & bobs for £9.99 for the 4 person sets, or £6.99 for the 2 person backpack style ones. Waterproof backed picnic rugs with handles and velcro straps were £1.99...worth getting in for all those outdoor concerts this summer!

Saw some cartman "respect my authority" car window screen type things in York for 59p. Then the next minute someone took the whole lot of them, probably over 20. Don't you just hate ebay and car booters?!

Hi Alikay, where is the Normanton HB in relation to Pak Foods? We went looking for it last Saturday and our sat nav told us it was up near the florist but we couldn't find it  If you can help with directions I'd be most grateful :)

I have been looking for a pink picture to go in my kitchen and picked up a set of 3 wooden flower pictures for £1.99 today in HB. Also saw some nice placemats for £1.99 which i am going back for next week when I get paid. Thought I was very restrained not buying them today!

Risky! I usually find when I go back for anything - its gone! Most one-off things don't hang around for more than a few days in HB,there is a big and fast turnover.
