Disneyland paris 9.50 sun holidays are back starting 19th

The official site does often have such good deals, I just booked for Jan, 3 nights, B&B inc park tickets for 4 people, for 4 days grand total £286!
Not trying to say the Sun offer isn't good, but the official site does also have some good deals if your flexible on dates.
That's the key part I think.
We're going in Feb Half term. £230 is more than 50% cheaper than the official site (staying at the same hotel) and our price includes travel.0 -
I thought Whoopee when I saw this, then sat n thought some more. I have 2 daughters, one is 12 so it really wouldn't be feasible for us, as it only allows 2 Adults and we would be 3, and although we only live in the Midlands, I really wouldn't want to try and do the full trip in 1 day - too much driving for one!
I then started looking at a coach company who we first went to Disneyland Paris with years ago - and they are doing day trips from £49.95pp (coach, ferry and ticket into park)! So for a day at Paris it would cost us between £199 and £280 plus food and spends depending on when we go. Which I don't think is far off if you factor in all the petrol, and travelodge stays you would need to have to make the trip enjoyable really.
Overnight trips start from £119 B&B depending on when we go and how long we stay, and having stayed onsite once before it is worth it because you have all the time to explore and also use of the leisure facilities like swimming pools too.
So for me - I will now not be saving the vouchers.Donna
Economy; careful management; providence. Whether you call it thrifty or frugality it all comes down to getting more for your money.0 -

just arrange own travel and accom and use the deal for the cheap vouchers ( getting 2 sets @ 2 diff addresses if you need moe than 2 adult tickets)0 -
hi guys
jumped on this one a bit late, but still got time to join in the fun:-)
my son said this morning that it was a fact that we would never ever have a family holdiay.... so made me get my finger out to start planning something as cheap and chearful as possible!!
- will be buying 4 copies of the sun every day for the next 9 days... and looking to book 2 days in the park for 2 families (will split me and Dh and the kids into 2 families)
- will keep my eye cheap euro hotel deals for 2-3 nights - or ask a new found friend who lives in central paris to help with finding cheap accommodation
- have about £100 quid in tesco vouchers that i was saving for merlin passes, but will see how far we can get on eurotunnel with that or keep eye open for cheap flights to pairs (never seen one yet!)
does that sound the right kind of plan? will re-read this thread and other dlp ones, but any immediate advice would be appreciated
Also have to factor in passport costs as none of my 3 have got them yet.. will send off one every few weeks between now and feb..
thanks0 -

Hi, I was thinking of booking my own accommodation and staying one night but when I looked at the booking form there is only the option for a day trip or to 'upgrade' to an overnight stay at a Disney hotel. Is everyone sure that you can stay over and book your own hotel and if so, how do you do this?0

So I presume from this that you receive the Disneyland tickets in advance then? I thought you would have to pick them up on the ferry as this is what happened when I received a free ticket through a P&O Ferries deal once.
Also does it not work out just as expensive as staying in a Disney hotel if you also have to pay your own travel (assuming you don't have Tesco deals to use)?0 -

you would have to do the workings out for you / your circumstances
no it's not like the free ticket on the ferry ..... it's via the SUN via Consort travel ! you get the voucher in the post which you then exchange for tickets when you get to Disney0
