I have had a look at ferry prices and it would be pretty much the same. :)
So Would I be able to do this : Get the £9.50 deal which gets us ferry over and park tickets for the first day (what we wanted) not use the return, book my own accom and go back on the ferry next day (which we would have booked ourself)?

Unless The Sun have border guards, I can't see what's stopping you :D

  • I phoned the sun today and asked about getting a ticket for the next day she said I couldn't do that but if I collect another 10 tokens I could do another one under another address (same names on the application is fine)... So I paid for one at my address and one at my parents. I now have to collect 20 tokens and send 2 applications off (with different addresses on). It cost me £53 for both due to it only being £9.50 if you go on a Monday or Tuesday and then a £7 for reserving it now. Its only me and my girlfriend but £53 for 2 days isn't too bad? Hope this helps someone...

Thank you very much for this! I didn't realise the ferry was pretty much the same price.
You could just have saved my daughters birthday :) .

    Ah you're welcome!

That does - at least it confirms that it's possible to do.

    One question, why did it cost you £53 ? Surely it's just £(9.50 x 2) + 7 = £26 ?
  • Well as far as I understand the 9.50 is only available if you go on a monday or a tuesday and I wanted to go on a wednesday?

    Ah ok, misread your post.

So you've got the wednesday and thursday in the park. Did you pay for the externsion bit to get the ferry back the next day ? Or are you paying that seperately ?

I ask as I'm sure last year, if you didn't turn up for the outbound ferry your inbound booking was cancelled by P&0. Could be wrong though.
  • Yea I think you are right but I' getting the Eurostar so not using P&O. If any one has any hotels in Paris (Centre of) recommendations they would be most appreciated I'm looking for 3 nights for under £200?
  • Has anyone found a return crossing for under £35?
