What a fun gadget it is too! I had some misgivings about sending back my original Nano that my sons gave me for a special birthday, but they encouraged me to do so and we're really chuffed with the replacement (although I'd love to have kept the original for sentimental reasons).

Now need to find a case for it...I can imagine how easily it would disappear into the depths of my handbag...:D

Just noticed that my product replacement has no warranty when I put the serial number into the apple checker, when i first checked when i got the email it had a year, oh well nevermind.

Glad I seen this thread a couple of weeks back as my old nano has been sitting in a drawer as doesn't really hold a charge anymore

From people's experience how long does it normally take to receive the replacement iPod back when the status is "product replacement pending"

Can't see their being a problem apart from if the serial number on the iPod has already been registered for replacement by the owner

I have done this twice just waiting for my replacement to arrive back from apple. You need to keep an eye out on ebay for a good price buy it now. They do go fast I payed £25 for mine but some sold for £5 and £10 yesterday.
