I posted mine back on 5 December and am still waiting for my status to be updated from "24 November - Empty Box Shipped". It's a frustrating wait, especially as I know someone who posted theirs back on the same day and received their replacement last week!
I'll feel happier when my status is updated to confirm they've actually received it. I've phoned to check but they just advised that there is a huge backlog to deal with.
Fingers crossed!
That happened to me with one of mine - the other 3 sent back had changed to product replacement pending. Phoned and got through to speak to someone by selecting the option to 'find out more about purchasing £25 service package to get my ipod fixed'. Turned out my package had not arrived and I had to email proof of posting for them to investigate. Heard this week that claim has gone through so I too will get my new 6th gen. Only hope it's not another month from the dated product replacement pending date of 23rd Jan. Other members of family got their 3 wks ago now:(.
Anyway, suggest you chase it up sooner rather than later in case it has gone AWOL.
HTHIf only I could stop finding good bargains on this site, I would save a fortune! :rotfl:0 -
What has been peoples average wait to receive their iPod back once the status changes to "product replacement pending" as mine has been sitting at that stage for a few weeks0

I feel for people who were using their ipods on a daily basis, it's quite a while to wait for the new one!Top Cash Back: £882
Boots Card: £160

Thanks to this thread finally got my 6th gen a couple of weeks back. Very pleased as my original nano was in a draw as the battery wouldnt hold charge.
Anyway, the delivery driver recorded that he had delivered to an address 3 miles away as we were not in. Spoke to Apple and they sorted it and after pushing got a watch strap type holder free as I can use this with my Nike plus trainers to track my jogs.0 -

I took mine into Lakeside store (had to make a Genius Bar appt) and the nice lady entered all the details onto system, gave me a receipt and said to bring the old one in when they call me to collect the replacement. Apparently, it takes much longer than by post but you get to keeps yours meanwhile which was great for me as I was still using it.0
