  • Received mine yesterday and very pleased. BUT, does anyone have any recommendations (or ideas even) for portable/charger speakers at a reasonable price (not more than £50), please?

The new iPod Nano no longer fits. Also ear pieces. Unsure where the old ones are.

    Very many thanks

I got some great headphones from Home Bargains for £2.99, white ones and they also have speakers in cheap. They have some Ladybug ones in for £29.99 I think but they might be cheaper. I seen the same ones in House of Fraser the other day RRP £79.99. Worth a look if you have a HB near you.

Posted on the Home Bargains thread earlier,

Been looking for a decent speaker dock for the kitchen for a while so was over the moon to find this one today at only £19.99:

Amazon is coming up at £49.99 and the cheapest I can find it is in Very where it was reduced to £29.99 in the sale and is Out Of Stock:

It's currently blasting out Guns n Roses in the Kitchen rather well, decent bass on it, charges iPod and iPhone. Very happy bunny :)

They also have this one at £19.99, though I don't think it charges iPhone only iPod:

  • I received my new 6th generation iPod Nano yesterday. I know what you all mean. It says product replacement pending for ages! To give you an idea of how long yours will take to arrive, they confirmed they had received my 1st gen Nano on the 9th Dec and the issue was identified on the same day. I didn't receive my new Nano until yesterday (6th January). And I didn't receive an email to say the replacement product had been shipped until today (7th Jan)?!

Also, I received a silver one which was a let down, as silver would have been the last colour I would have picked! It would have been nice to have had a choice. But I guess you can't be fussy when it comes to giving you a free one. They send it to you in a cardboard box and it is literally naked inside apart from foam padding and cellophane across the screen. You also get a warranty booklet. It does not come in the original sealed Apple box like you would get in the shop, as that would mean they would have to give you a USB Lead and the earphones as well. Infact when it arrived, my first reaction was it was a refurbished one because of how it was displayed in the box. Could well be, but it looks new to me.
