Free new ipod nano - If you have a 1st Gen Nano!
Comments

UPS have just been and delivered my brand new silver 8GB iPod Nano. With it being new I was expecting it to be in its little plastic box, was surprised to see it was just on its own in the cardboard box! Then again the old one did go back on its own so can't complain!
Thanks Apple and the OP!0 -
I also received an 8gb 6th generation replacement yesterday. Nice one.0

Hey Simmysim has your status changed on the apple site? Or did you get an email? You've got me all excited now because our dates were the same lol
xThs signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it...0 -
Phoned Apple again tonight after being told earlier in week 3 of mine had shipped (no email or update to Apple site) and that my 'missing' one had been received on a date earlier than I had returned it!!!!
Gentleman tonight much more helpful - 3 belonging to other members of my family will SOON be dispatched but unfortunately mine has never arrived (posted at same time). He has taken a copy of my postal receipt and launching a claim from his end but suggested it will be sorted out satisfactorily. When pushed as to what that meant, he said that i had done all i could and provided the postal receipt enables him to launch a claim, it should lead to me also being sent a replacement. Keeping fingers and toes crossed.
Should add that the first person I spoke to tonight said they had been overwhelmed by number sent back so things were taking more than 6 weeks to return. If only I could stop finding good bargains on this site, I would save a fortune! :rotfl:0 -
Realistically, in this disposable age, how many of us expected the 1st gen ipod to last 6+ years when we brought it in 2005?alandenman wrote: »I have several hard drive mp3 players all working fine.
I also have a Japanese radio that dates back 20 years.
I have a black and white TV that I got for my 10th birthday in 1980, it is technically working but since switch over it doesn't have a transmitter to send it anything to showHowever, I don't think that a 20 year old radio and a 32 year old tele can be counted as having been made in "this disposable age" we expected those to last when we got them!
