The only thing I thought was maybe it was a SM savings card type thing?
This made me laugh (could be the Baileys though!) :rotfl:
Some of us have separate budgets and 'piggy banks' into which we save through the year to buy things at specific times. For instance, I have a Christmas, a Birthdays, Ents, Tobacco and various others which have just escaped my Baileys soaked brain.
Have a great holiday,

Well my month is up. Its officially 28th but I have done my shopping now for the end of the year and I will not be going to the shops again until 2nd. I have added my receipts up and have managed to spend a whopping £343.98 which is £43.98 over budget! Not very happy with myself but I do have a good supply of nappies, washing powde, juice and tinned goods for next month.
I think as long as your are ahead then its worked for you hasnt it,
you have a good start on next month.Slimming World at target0 -

I stumbled across this a while ago and do a "take" on it depending on what veg I've got lying around:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/cheesyvegetablebake_74795
I don't add cream (lactose intolerant) and the cheese is whatever type I've got in the fridge.
Another one that's really nice is http://www.budgens.co.uk/whats-in-store/recipe/18-chunky-root-vegetable-bake but again the veg does vary.

Ahhhhhh, bit like my budgeting pots from my bank account!:) Have another on me Spigs:D (think I may join you .... I've got a bottle! But only the one as driving in the morning.
I'm contemplating running an annual total as well as my monthly one next year - and putting any underspends (hopefully!) into a pot to balance out with overspends (hopefully not!) ..... and if there's anything left - it can go towards something nice at the end of the year!:)Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Should've said earlier but forgot (and if I don't do it now, I'll forget again:o).....
If you fancy a change or if (like me) you're "not great" with wheat - you can use porridge oats instead of the breadcrumbs.:)Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

All presents wrapped and stockings stuffed and put up
It's a bloomin' miracle as I usually am wrapping at midnight on Christmas Eve, so I am very chuffed with myself.
We've been to the family service at church this afternoon and the kids all took part in various skits, readings and hymns and made me a very proud Mum.
I was going to do Carbonara yesterday but went to bed and DH raided the freezer fora HM ready meal. Today wasn't quite Carbonara either as DH had picked up a big tub of double cream for 40p. So I bunged on some spaghetti to cook. Chopped up the bacon, left over from a couple of days ago and fried it off with a couple of cloves of finely crushed garlic. Added the tub of double cream and a couple of handfuls of sweetcorn and a couple of handfuls of frozen peas and heated it through on a low heat, stirring frequently. Drained the spaghetti and bunged it in bowls and then spooned the cream mixture on top. A very cheap meal indeed all mopped up by my gannetsBSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -
Have £14.50 to add from today and £1 fromyesterday buying some apples.
Went whoopsie shopping today, as i was hearing its the best day of the year for it lol and my word never experienced anything like it being a first timer!
I was talking to this man when an announcement went out saying the aisle of the reductions, this guy had a trolley full and said he was having a party and hanging around for reductions, says he does it every year it was about 5pm at the time, so after the convo which was a few minutes, i headed to the aisle mentioned and there was a frenzied crowd, by the time i made my way over tthey had picked the items dry, but i saw in peoples baskets some good prices, so decided to hang around, while hanging around i noticed a piece of salmon for £1.50 from their fishmonger section, because there wernt yellow stickers nobody bothered, so then made my way to the reduction aisle, nothing was happening, but as i was walking down the aisle, i saw a man with a reduction trolley, so decided to follow him! LOL, he stopped and every body crowded round before he could put anything on a shelf, got chicken thighs for 70p for 6, 4 chicken breasts 1.29, ttd sausages 70p, and saw some mince 1.85 which was the most expensive thing.
So on i plodded with my bags to my grandmas house 20 mins away, my cousin called and asked me to get her coke, so i went to tescos, which i was going to check if the glitch worked, it did aparantly i had just missed all the really good reductions on meat, i heard a lady bragging to her friend and saw flowers and other stuff in peoples baskets, so i made my way round to the veg, saw nothing, so went to the meat red section, where a guy was putting things on the shelf and about 5 people were grabbing things, so i got in there! lol, grabbed some chicken breasts, cod fillets, fishcakes x 2 packs,, prawns, guyere parcels, chicken kievs, went round and got the old el paso, tortillas, dinner kits and some sice mixes, 3 of each i paid £6.50 total! well pleased, my freezer was full but now its rammed and some stuff expires on 26th i cant fit it in and will be out for dinner, so wll have to cook during the day.
I had to get my cousin to help me as i had so many bags! i promised her something tasty, she ended up with a dinner kit, 2 packets of spices,a pack of tortillas a guyere parcel and prawns, also gave my aunty a pack of chicken breasts, a dinner kit, some spices and a pack of tortillas.
My aunty gave me a piece of pollock fish and i got a bottle of sorrel from my grandmas and oh yes, my cousin gave me a small ham, i am well pleased and will be well fed, only need oil and washings pads.
Well chuffed, £20 of my budget spent and i have loads of main meals
Merry Christmas all!Lose 28lb 3/28lb
