A very broad statement regarding mental health issues for some it can be as serious as a physical disability, including conditions such as yours and render a person unable to leave their home, to work etc - just because you cannot see it does not mean it is not as serious or any less important in terms of support required as for those with a physical disability.
Both physical and mental health issues, impact on quality of life not only for the individual but for their friends and family and both can lead to premature death. Neither is more important than the other.
The op, no one in this thread knows if the lady in question has a diagnosed condition, the only thing we can be sure is that her temper snapped as has everyone else's on occasion to a greater or lesser extent.
I didn't say it can't be, i just said it is not (meaning it is not the same as). Is English difficult for you?
Plus the neighbour obviously gets out etc. so is not the same as in your examples. The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett

"Residents experiencing difficulties with vehicles parking across their dropped kerb access can apply for a white line 'H' marking across their driveway. This is a white line which is painted across the access parallel to the kerb and which has short end bars perpendicular to the line.
This is meant to show drivers this is an area where they should not park as they are likely to cause an obstruction. Unfortunately these lines have no legal standing and as a result drivers cannot be fined for parking on them but if the Police are called to deal with the matter the presence of the white lines would strengthen their case for taking action. "
It was from this site: http://www.pkc.gov.uk/Transport+and+streets/Parking+and+car+parks/Parking+-+access+to+property/
Whilst the above is a Scottish website, I can also remember that I was responsible in the mid 90's for getting some white lines put down for people and back then they weren't enforceable in England either.
Thanks that's interesting indeed. I have never parked in front of anyones exept my mates and only when he was !!!!ed and wouldn't have been driving anyway. The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett

Really ?
The OP states this "the timing occassionally co-incides when she gets home from a night shift at work"
So has it NEVER happened or has the neighbour just gone up the pavement without fuss every other time and this time had had enough of being reasonable ?Bow Ties ARE cool "Just because you are offended, doesnt mean you are right" Ricky Gervais

Not really an inconvenience then is it. I see you agree the neighbour was being unreasonable. The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett

op, can i ask is there a reason the bus cant park in your driveway, if you moved your car beforehand , this would solve all the problems as she would be able to get in and your daughter would get picked up from home0

nice backtrack :rotfl:,
I agree it is unreasonable to scream abuse at people yes of course I do, I also think its incredibly unreasonable to expect others to put up with being inconvenienced on a regular basis without some form of apology about it.
The neighbour shouldnt have to mount the kerb and possibly endanger others to access her home.
If it was the case the bus was just there every day but caused no obstruction and she flipped out about it then she would be totally at fault for the outburst, as it stands I think the OP must concede some of the blame for not at least having a conversation about it.Bow Ties ARE cool "Just because you are offended, doesnt mean you are right" Ricky Gervais

I obviously don't know about OP's bus driver, but I do know that there is no way that our local transport service would do this. They are on a tight schedule picking up all of the children on the route, and so they will not come onto a driveway as this takes an extra minute or so to reverse in, or out, and reorientate the bus. If you multiply that by each child on the bus it could add up to a 20 minute delay for the last child to be picked up, so they have a blanket policy that they won't do it for any family to make it fair.0 -

I think any problem she has should be sorted out between the local authority who arange the bus (who will write her a polite letter explaining she hasn't got a leg to stand on but thye regret any inconvenience) and not between the neighbours and certainly not by making a scene in front of a load of children.
I have to wait for goods vehicles, cars and service buses to get out the way till I park in my space outside my house on a side street on an almost daily basis (it’s a single lane shared between both ways). I just have to deal with it. Who should be apologising to me about that.
The neighbour is a self centred drama queen who needs to grow up. Waiting two or three minutes is nothing in normal traffic and it’s not even every day.The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett

She's not been blocked from 'gaining access' as she can go up the kerb, passed the bus and then into her drive. From the OP the bus takes up part of the road (outside the OP's house), it doesn't block the neighbours drive0
