For the nice ;) people who want to be helpful to the people moving in - it's worth leaving details of who you have gas and electricity with. Now that so many people have switched it's often not the default British Gas/what was the local electricity company. I had to ring round companies until I found out mine was on dual fuel with Powergen... It makes it difficult to supply final meter readings (just in case the people moving out didn't read the meters) if you don't know who they got it from.

1. You kept your old toilet seat:o
2. Energy bulbs are now on sale in B&Q for 94p - how much are you selling your house for?:p
Go on leave them. The new owners will think kindly and fondly of you and it will add to their enjoyment of their new house to think the old owners were not meanies :D
]We kept it because we knew we'd take the new one with us, and as I only had the bathroom totally redone about a year ago it's not like an old toilet seat!!

I didn't know energy saving lightbulbs were that cheap now, but then until recently I thought a loaf of bread is about £1 and a pint of milk is 50p!!
Hell yeah!!

Pouring milk on carpets is meant to be a good one, as it'll start to go off as well as cress seeds and some water on the carpets. Someone I know also put cress seeds on the front lawn of an ex spelling out a lovely greeting, so after a few days it was there for all to see!

how long dose it take for cat urine to penetrate floor boards so it leaves a long lasting smell, asking because i need to let my neighbour know how long il be borrowing their cat for.
Apparently the best cat to get for this is an Ocelot. :D

As for taking toilet seats, I've seen "personalised" toilet seats "tailor made" for customers with memorabilia built into them, personal inscriptions etc. so you'd want to take that with you. (just an example http://www.customisedphonecovers.com/productDetails.asp?id=132 )
A house isn't a home without a cat.
Those are my principles. If you don't like them, I have others.
I have writer's block - I can't begin to tell you about it.
You told me again you preferred handsome men but for me you would make an exception.
It's a recession when your neighbour loses his job; it's a depression when you lose yours.

Don't see the point anymore in offering advice to people who only want to be agreed with...
