[QUOTE=sharronej;Jakes mum how frustrating but at least you didn't buy presents you weren't happy with ..... except the games of course, I understand exactly where you are coming from!
    [/QUOTE]

thats very true, would have been 10 times worse if i'd come home with a load of stuff I didnt really want to buy just so people had a gift :(, hoping to go with me mum in a few weeks time ;)

well as everyone is working out their daily payments I thought I would do mine :D I need to pay £21.38 a day to be debt free by Christmas 2012 :j :j so minus the payments I already make I have to make a further £12.16 a day which is not so bad, think when the next months £10 a day challenge starts I will aim for £12.50 a day . . . though im seriously running out of things to ebay

  • Sharronej - no chance of anyone else cooking tea, my OH was out for a friend's birthday and I've have starved otherwise :rotfl: I feel fine it's just the room doesn't seem to be staying still! Bit pants when you've not been drinking but could be worse!

I've ordered next weeks shopping and am working on my list for the week after that now  There's nothing like being organised! Even with the boozy xmas treats I've ordered it's looking like we should be well under my estimate this month, which means more money for the CC muahahaha :D
  • Hi all!

Just wondering if its too late to join up? I've been knocking around the boards for a while but after reading up on this thread tonight, I've cut up one credit card and put the other one in water in the freezer!! I've been kidding myself for the last while that i'm paying them off while sneakily buying little things on them!! Those little things really add up!!

I've got three creditors: 2 credit cards and a loan - which add up to €12,051.15...My debts were mainly racked up by going back to college, which I have thankfully completed!! it would be really great to get this paid off or down significantly by next Christmas!!

    So, please can I join??

My company is the same but they also pay us a week early in January so it's not too bad. Just means February is a 5 week month but since it's my birthday then I usually get a few extra pennies to tide me over ;)
