Debt at Highest: £43,073 :eek:0 -
I joined the challenge a few days ago and since then I've had to realise how bad my debts actually are
been sitting in a corner ever since, crying my eyes out
have given myself the biggest kick in the backside though and hope I can start to make inroads into what I owe. I was going to pull out of the challenge but I've decided I need to aim big and hope you'll all give me the kick I need .Off to bed now but tomorrow will be the first step in my DFW journey ,night all xxx

suzitiger don't worry about missing the mini-challenge there's a new one each week and you can always continue with a previous mini-challenge if you like it. They're to help think out of the box, I can't wait to tell everyone this weeks
I apparently spent £80 this weekend =| this resulted in a new top, sweatbands, a sore head and a bruised tailbone. That's almost all my spending money gone then, oh well I had fun
Tomorrow is freemans bill day so should be able to pay something :TDiary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Seashell well done for sticking around even though you feel like that! The worst part of the whole DFW journey is realising how much you actually owe instead of what you think you owe and then finding a way to try and deal with it - I really hope that being here and having so much extra support where you're free to talk about your debts without being judged helps you feel more positive about everything:grouphug:0

Thank you for welcoming me to the team!
Really looking forward to getting stuck in and getting this debt gone. (Tomorrow won't help though
I won a private screening of 50/50 in london but it's a £30 train ticket! Ah well, it's been a while since I've been to London and I won't spend anything else ~ promise! .... if anyone wants to come along, let me know and I'll give you details. It's for 30 people and there's only 3 of us going HAHA!)
So you can take 30 people?! I could slightly be interested although that would mean train fare for me... but not sure if I could get a plus one to randomly come along!Became Mrs Scotland 16.01.16Became homeowners 26.02.16

Well alot of my debt is, as I say 4/5 years old and due to moving I havent heard from any of the debt agencies for over a year. I just need it gone so I can move on.
Lol i found myself not getting a lot of things yest because they had gone up by 23p etc hahahaha. My mom thought I had gone mad!
It's always worth an ask but I think the only way you could get a reduced figure is by offering a full and final settlement figure... this is usually after being on a DMP or something for a while though.
Sorry for the scattered replies... I can't multi-quote past one page :cool:Became Mrs Scotland 16.01.16Became homeowners 26.02.16

Right last minute before bed/end of the weekend update!! I *hope* I'll be able to send a little more money towards B@rclays at some point this month, but for a month before xmas I think I've done bloody well so far!
£250/£1550 (16.13%!!)
If I can find £60 between now and next pay day, that'll be 20% done and dusted - doesn't seem likely but stranger things have happened!0 -
Thanks for adding me:D
I am so excited about this challenge, it was just the kick up the bum I needed:rotfl:
I won't be able to start properly for a little while as our finances are currently in a state of flux:p but I will start as soon as I possibly can, and in the meantime will try and be very careful to think in a mse way at all times:D
Hello L-M *waves* I apologise for being slightly rude but I know I've been with you on another thread... but can't remember which one?Became Mrs Scotland 16.01.16Became homeowners 26.02.16
