Good morning everyone!
Feeling super motivated thanks to this fabulous thread! Am going to do lots of MS activity today as am off today and tomorrow from work :j
Going to clean house and find more stuff to sell on eBay, cook some meals to freeze and think of more ways to make money! Am waiting for pay day very impatiently (isn't until 2nd Dec!) although do have some money coming from Paypal/work expenses/sale of guitar/amazon sales to put towards my total when they arrive! Wishing everybody a great day

Sounds like you're really geared up today!!! I desperately want to do moneysaving but I'm stuck in work all day and didn't leave last night until 7pm  Managed to relist an item on Ebay though so not a total loss.
My payday is Nov 30th so still a week to go and I CANNOT WAIT!!!! I'm so proud of everyone who is managing to pay money off their debts no matter how big or small a number (even if it's in their heads as they haven't got paid yet!). What matters is that they are also paying money that they normally would be frittering away as well as the normal direct debit and min payments.
You'll have to keep us updated on how you are getting today and tomorrow with all your MSE ideas! :TxxxNew Debt Journey: Pay off £19,622.91 by 30th April 2015 :T
Debt at Highest: £43,073 :eek:0 -
Just stopping by whilst I'm in work to share a squee at the fact the items I listed on ebay at 10pm last night are already being watched. Hopefully this means some sales
Am hoping to get the last of my nieces Christmas presents tonight with a newly discovered Asda gift card. I suspect it only has a couple of quid on it, but I might be able to get some final bits for her with the money on it. Fingers and toes crossed anyway :rotfl:Deleting everything to make sure MoneySupermarket don't get any of my personal details to sell to following Martin's sell out move :money:0 -
Morning all £5.21 went out today as my HSBC overdraft interest (this isn't counted towards my debt) so not a NSD today grrr. Tomorrow won't be either as I have to buy all the postage for my fleabay items.
I agree with the "you have to treat yourself" vibe. I think the best way to do it is in a earn + reward way. So if you pay off £10 then put away £1 or 50p towards a treat or similar. I need to start doing this instead of just splurging, but I soooo love splurging. My treat for this month is going to be my night out on Saturday which is going to be paid by fleabay :jDiary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

I have a suggestion which will not require money but will not put you in debt or lets say add to your debts and might help with shopping/xmas presents,etc,etc.. but requires some courage!
next time you go shopping/fuel station at tesco/sainsburys/boots where they collect points.. if you see the customer in front of you without those point cards..would you have the courage to ask "excuse me kind sir / madam, do you collect this stores points? if not could I have them pretty please?" I reckon if you hang around for 10-15 mins..you could rake up serious amounts of points. (but beware you might get the dodgy eye from the cashier!!! or the store manager might ban you from the store for loittering or causing a nusiance) if this have been posted earlier..my apologies!smile everyday...cos its free

Does anyone know of a really good recipe for a Bhuna or Balti...? I'm lactose intolerant so cannot have creamy/milky things and don't like curries too spicy so these are nice medium strength ones that I like but would like to make homemade ones and freeze them. Oh and I must tell you that I absolutely cannot stand coriander...
I get paid in 8 days... I want to update my total now!!!!
Needed to reply before I forget so i haven't checked if anyone else has replied. U can use yoghurt that is lactose free to cool it down. If you find a good recipe online (I can't think of one off the top of my head) just take the chilli out or any chilli powder to make it nice and mild. The spices like garam masala and tumeric are not hot but give a nice flavour. Sorry to hear u don't like corriander, i cover my curries in it!! Love the stuffDon't turn a slip up into a give up

Oh Jakesmum, sorry to hear about ur back. I hope the doctor can help you out. Try doing some very gentle yoga stretches if you know any, this really helps mine
Well its 2 days until my payday and I'm looking forward to getting the ball rolling, still haven't had my ebay day so need to get cracking with that as i've got loads to sell!! Ur all keeping me very motivated with ur ebay stories. I am expecting a cheque very soon from Musicm*gpie tho which is also a start. Mf0u, sorry to hear about ur ebay forum bad experience, I think once you have sold a few items and got feedback you will be able to list more at a time, its just they are wary with new sellers at first
I can't believe people were so rude to you when u asked for help! I upped my monthly payments to B-card yesterday and got them to take off a overlimit fee as I was only over by £2 and its cuz i got stuck in london when I got charged full fayre on my oyster and had to top it up again (sorry long story) but when i told the lady this she gave it straight back. Yaaaay! I will be aiming to make extra payments when I have the money but I upped my min payments just to see me right for now. I will be checking back later aft6er I have been to my seing social, first time tonight, yipeee!

Thanks for the support on 'treats' guys
I do feel guilty when I end up spending money but I am still padding away, and trying to work more to get more money... although how much extra I can work is limited.
The pad thread is definitely addictive and did teach me how much money I wasted before... we do all take a lot of joy in the fact that they have to process all our teeny payments! Just a little bit of sweet revenge.
Have a good day all x
